Hails, everyone!

I am trying (really hard) to track down a death / thrash / groove-metal song from the early 1990s. I taped it off the radio in '92 or '93, and then accidentally recorded over the cassette.. now all I have left are 2 short fragments from the song that didn't get erased. I'm attaching a link, so you can listen:

http://www.fileden.com/files/2012/11/5/3363978/song.wav

I have absolutely no clue what band recorded the song, what it's called, or what album it's on. All I know is that the lyrics were in English, and it probably wasn't released any later than 1993. As far as the music, I would describe it this way:

INTRO: Very plodding, Type O Negative-style intro... Chanting, one drum being pounded.. a slow, descending guitar riff.

eg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngvsNwFuoXw (Type O Negative - World Coming Down)

VERSE: Galloping, faster-tempo guitar riff (like 'Four Horsemen'). The singer starts by grunting "ugh, ugghh, uugGGH" during the buildup before the verse (like 'At War With Satan' by Venom).

eg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6JDbeGIloM (Venom - At War With Satan)

BREAKDOWN: Staccato, machine gun-type riff (like 'One'). The singer eventually starts singing over this riff, throughout the breakdown.

eg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLtZOWuZgSo (Metallica - One)

QUALITY: More professional than a demo. The production almost sounds Swedish.. you can hear the bass, there's a warmth to it, etc.

eg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGPhEN_YdWU (Convulse - The New Arrival)

VOCALS: A mixture of growling and singing at the same time (like Cronus from Venom, Chuck Billy from Testament, and the singers from Konkhra or Gorefest). It's definitely NOT "shouting" like early thrash, "shrieking" like black metal, or guttural "barking" like grindcore!

eg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APFweyK9ZO4 (Konkhra - Centuries)

LYRICS: The first way I tried to find the song was by Googling whatever lyrics I could remember. I must've heard everything completely wrong, though, because the right song never came up when I searched for those words. This is how I remember a few of the lyrics...

Verse

"I dropped the pic-ture
"Through your he-eh-eead!
"Through empty promendade
"You looked so sa-aa-aad..."

"There is no more reason
"For you to li-iivve!
"[...?] laughter
"Do what you did..."

Chorus

[Some kind of chant, with only a few words - the main one being "Down!"]

Breakdown

"The impact on the asphalt
"You never feel
"No more breathless splenn-dor!
"Your death is real..."

And that's all I've got! Again, the style of the music was early-90s death / thrash. If you have any idea what song (or band) this might be, please feel free to share your ideas!

Cheers
