I'm looking for bands with a sound like The Black Keys, Cage the Elephant and The White Stripes. I'll make sure to get around to them all.

You may be interested in The Lykes Of Yew a "punked-up pagan blues" band from Folkestone in the UK. They're good friends of mine, and a bloody good band. They've only released a few singles at the moment:

One of their more obscure, angry songs. Gareth Liddiard writes the most excellent anecdotes you will hear in the modern days. Just check out the song Sixteen Straws - it is like listening to a movie.

The song Shark fin blues was voted best australian song, I think it was rated at the very top, by JJJ-magazine. Simply awesome. Also check out the song Jezebel, from the album "Gala Mill"
