I've really been digging Bolt Thrower, Autopsy, Asphyx, and Coffins recently but haven't had much luck finding other bands doing a similar death/doom without the gothic aspects. I know of Dragged Into Sunlight doing death/black/doom, Cianide, and Disma are doing death/doom how I like it, but are there any others? I know most of the CLASSICS but am look probably for something a bit more obscure I guess.

Thanks in advance!

Check out the comeback / debut album "In Death We Meet" from Derkéta released this year. It's truly great. Middle-aged women do this genre better than today's male youngsters.

Hooded Menace and Shroud of the Heretic should be just what you're looking for, although Hooded Menace is a little more melodic than most:

Maybe Castle and Spina Bifida? The Chasm is also worth checking out.

Acid Witch and Runemagick are worthy of your time.

Divine Eve's riffing has always reminded me of Cianide, and at points Winter, quite a bit. I think you'll dig 'em: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tmc9U_9NQs

Crimson Relic shared some members, you might enjoy them as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1aCaSTBz7g

Local heroes Ilsa always deserve some love. Plenty of crust thrown in, but great stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bMmeQzTNL4

Might be some I'm missing, I'll have to think of 'em...but lots of great recs have already been mentioned.

Edit: Oh yeah! Just discovered these guys a few weeks ago, Ophis. Pretty powerful stuff, maybe a bit more melodies thrown into the lead guitar work than any of these other bands, but I think you might still enjoy 'em: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvFyvkwb89M

Edit 2: And Eternal Darkness! Check out their EP and their compilation. The production isn't amazing, but there's some really great ideas and it's an enjoyable listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5lZtc2eb1Mp

Didn't see anyone mention Sonne Adam, yet. Maybe that's a fit.

Winter (US) and Goatlord (US) are pretty essential stuff when it comes to pure death/doom. Also check out DUSK - Majestic Thou in Ruin.

Goatlord http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQDMIXL1u2Y

I second this.

I would recommend Seidr, all of their releases are amazing.

Slugathor.. Especially their latest album. Very 90's Swedish Death style sound to em. If you like Asphyx and Autopsy you'll probly dig these guys as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21B8W_yHJHA

i second the Hooded Menace recomendation as well as the classics: winter, goatlord and disembowelment.
I would also like to add Morgion's among majestic ruin, the band Unholy, as well as the funeral doom bands Esoteric, catacombs, and Evoken also may be of interest to you.

I'd recommend some Druid Lord, Anhedonist, Solothus and obviously Cianide for some death/doom stuff, as well as the classics that have already been mentioned like Winter. Also going to throw in some Lavagoat, they got a death/doom side to them but also a spacy/stoner vibe going on sometimes as well.

Druid Lord http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGaawfrkCwM

Anhedonist http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNW-EvRQd1A

Solothus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-EiDeTDRBg

Lavagoat http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2r-8H2DYXCs

I'd definitely recommend Warning and Cirith Ungol, although they tend to be more heavy metal than doom at times.

At times? I can't say I know much about Warning, but Cirith Ungol never sounded doomy at all. Also, neither are death/doom.

Neither are Warning; to some they can even sound gothic with those moaning vocals.

My bad then, didn't realize you were restricted to death/doom.
