Led Zep's epic "Kashmir"is characterized by a wall of Oriental sounding keyboards amidst a driving guitar riff that sits in well with a simple but thunderous drum beat.

Added to that is the yearning tone of voice exhibited by Robert Plant and the lyrics veiled in mysticism. I wonder if there are any metal songs (preferably Trad metal and Epic/Prog bands) that work with these elements and evoke a familiar feeling.

Or to put it into perspective, recommend me any mystical extravaganzas similar to "Kashmir".

Black Sabbath's "Seventh Star" is what you're looking for. I find it evokes a similar feeling and Glenn Hughes' voice is almost as weary as Robert Plant's on "Kashmir"!

The mystical part's tripping me up, but let's see what you make of these:

New-proggers Coheed and Cambria's "Welcome Home"

Sludgesters Acid Bath's "Scream of the Butterfly"

Evoken - The Antithesis Of Light http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eEPxYFYD4o
An extreme example but it has the same thunderous drum pattern with a similarly phrased melody

Also, that vocal recording pic confirmed what I suspected: SLK records shirtless in a sweaty caveman-like delirium. You can almost hear the man stink in the recordings.

These aren't exact. But they may suit you. The SymPhony Brothers are MIDI and aren't metal, though they do have a rather mystical vibe.

Manilla Road - Venusian Sea

The SymPhony Brothers - The Cost Of Selling Out
The SymPhony Brothers - Beat The Piss-Ant/Honour To Thy King! I'm thinking the second half of the song, Honour To Thy King!
The SymPhony Brothers - Wedding In My Head (Marriage In My Mind (A Relationship Inside My Skull))

Going along with vengefulgoat, I'd throw in Rainbow's Stargazer. Listen to it in the car with the A/C blasting and you'll get some chills that aren't just from the cold.

I'll second Rainbow's Stargazer. But try Mundanus Imperium's coverversion of it, featuring Jorn on vocals. Absolutely stunning version.
