Everything I've found thus far has been either A: to slow and does not include enough metal, or B: does not include enough variation for my liking. Of course the band's that come close aren't garbage, I'm just looking for something more specific. When I look up psychadelic metal trying to find something that fits it gives me some 3/4 ambient 1/4 metal styles bullshit.
Any suggestions?

Well, there's Mike Amott's old project Spiritual Beggars, that was rather 70s-ish:

Psychotic Waltz had a rather strong psychedelic vibe to their prog-metal sound:

Cathedral pretty much nailed the psychedelic doom metal sound on The Ethereal Mirror:

Alchemist from Australia is one of my go to bands for this kind of metal. Their album Spiritech is one of their best: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2xs3iK ... eISZQODEuG

I don't know if this is a hit or miss, but you check out Kyuss' Welcome To Sky Valley.

Hm, what about "A Crimson Cosmos" by Lake of Tears? It's somewhat "light doom with a mushroomy 70s psych aesthetic" if I had to put it into words. Also parts of Tiamat's "Wildhoney" surely would fit as well as their "A Deeper Kind of Slumber". But probably my recs are the most obvious and you already know them...

You might like Aarni. Check out their first album, Bathos, or even their second, Tohcoth.

Pretty broad request. Could be anything from The Meads of Asphodel to Tjolgtjar. Conveniently those two bands put out a split recently, so you can check that out.

At the pinnacle, one is faced with unpleasant revelations, that the world is ruled by secret societies, all of which are rooted in beliefs that can be termed “supernatural” or “extraterrestrial.”

I would also recommend Kyuss. Sleep's Holy Mountain is also a good album that sounds similar.

I guess Pale Divine's "The Prophet" might count? Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for.

in the last couple of years there have been a number of death metal bands with psychedelic elements such as Morbus Chron, Diskord, Obliteration and Skeleton of God

I'm looking for albums similar to Hell the NWOBHM band which had a psychedelic feel to their heavy metal style and sound. They were the greatest surprise for me in 2011. The early demos and their albums are unique that just now I was wondering if there were more of this ??
