I just checked Nocturnal Depression, ColdWind and October Falls. Also, I checked Fäulnis and Geïst - not sure if really depressive black metal.

Anyway, what's the best bands in depressive black metal to get me into it?

Oh, yeah. It's ColdWorld.

Thanks for the suggestions, anyway. That's a whole bunch of stuff.

It's more hateful and misanthropic than anything, but nevertheless Mirrorthrone is a fantastic band.

Woods of Desolation is worth checking out.

http://youtu.be/6hAefXXgR4g Woods of Desolation - Torn Beyond Reason (can't even express the melancholy oozing from the riff at 2:40)

And perhaps Licht Erlischt... as well. It's another project from the guy behind the incredibly melancholic, epic and atmospheric nature tribute black metal band Horn.

http://youtu.be/cgMNUY07u34 Licht Erlischt... - Await The Overarching Blow

I second also the already mentioned Anti, Coldworld, Austere and Blutklinge.

Oh hey, this Licht Erlischt is pretty neat! It was already worth checking this thread out :P

A recommendation I can add is Wehmut.

Also, that list is missing out on Gris. You can't live without Gris, it's impossible.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwLw1twqz1w Il était une forét, the title track of the album. My personal favorite.

And of course, thirding Coldworld, Austere (especially the latest album) and Blutklinge.

^ I second Gris, but I figured that was pretty much included with Niflheim.

Early Shining, early Bethlehem, Benighted in Sodom and (although is mostly funeral doom influenced) Nortt.

Additionally, I'm also recommending Crooked Necks from the split with Circle of Ouroborus.
CoO sucks but this band is fairly unique and worth checking out.
