Actually it turns out that I'm far more into his total ambient material. Listened to Lichtschleier the other day and quite liked it! I'd heard Horizontmelancholie several times before and thought it was interesting, but I guess I really just wanted him to not sing and not play drums and apparently not do anything except make wind noises and program synths and tap at pianos.
