I love the way Carpathian Forest uses saxophones in their music like in "Cold Murderous Music". They really enhance the atmosphere and make it very trippy and surreal. Are there any other black metal or just extreme metal bands that are jazzy or is CF the only one?

There's some sax on Ihsahn's new record.

That.

Also Sigh seems to be using some saxophone at least since that crazy chick joined them (I think that's last CD only, didn't really hear it), she used it a few times on their gig I saw. Their music is weird enough that it fits there anyway.

Most Lugubrum is really great, but they only use the sax on a few albums...none at all on the most recent one, although that's probably their jazziest/grooviest record and it probably would have fit right in. Anyway, the band makes twisted, intriguing music.

Sigh, Sigh, and SIGH!

Seriously, not only do they make fantastic music, but they also utilize various instruments(included the ol' sax, especially on the new album) very well.

Also the saxophone on Ihsahn's latest are really cool, although I wouldn't really consider his solo stuff Black Metal.

La Rumeur des Chaines is all you need: http://www.myspace.com/larumeurdeschaines

Wacky jazz/symphonic black metal with unique riffs. The song 'Erytheme' in particular has a lot of saxophone parts.

Not 100% Black Metal but Pan-Thy-Monium use a lot of sax on their debut CD "Dawn Of Dreams".
