I have yet to hear a band like fleshgod apocalypse (to all the people who say they sound like hour of penance, you're wrong)
What i mean by fleshgod is the heavy use of tremelo picking style riffs(don't really know the real term of the riff they are using.) it is very reminiscent of black metal to me.

If you could watch this video starting from 2 minutes here, it can give you a good idea of what im looking for:

or if you want better quality(but cant fastforward)

thx for any help

At 2 mintues, the little solo is all finger tap, not tremelo picking. :P

So, based on your love for finger tapping, I'd recommend this Odious Mortem song: Gestation of Worms.

And tell me what you think of Ulcerate as well.

Link.

im just gonna say it anyways..
they resemble Hour of Penance considering the band is pretty much compromised of the other one

im not talking about the tapping, im talking about the backing riff, and HoP and FGA only share one member, its like saying dark tranquillity and Laethora sound alike.
