Hello everyone! I was curious if anyone could recommend me some songs similar to Vicious Rumors "Don't Wait for Me" from their self-titled album. You can listen to the track here:

http://www.metalinjection.net/tv/view/1 ... ait-for-me

I have listened to the rest of the album, but the other songs either seemed kind of slower, or didn't quite grab my attention. Perhaps I'll have to give it another listen!

Basically though, I'm looking for some powerful sounding (Please no keyboards or classically inspired stuff), speedy thrash stuff with clean and clear vocals in the higher range! If you need any other examples, please let me know, as I'd be happy to provide! Thanks in advance! :D

Laaz Rockit – Annihilation Principle
Laaz Rockit – Nothing Sacred
Abattoir – The Only Safe Place

Thanks for all the suggestions Metalhaven! I really appreciate it! I don't really have the time to give a full verdict on all of them, but here's some quick little observations that I made!

Vicious Rumors – Digital Dictator (Already heard it. Love it!)
Vicious Rumors – Welcome to the Ball (I'll definitely take a look at the album! Hopefully I find something similar!)
Villain – Only Time Will Tell (A little slow, but I thought the solo was pretty darn awesome!)
Ruffians – s/t (Couldn't find it on YouTube. Am I looking for a song, or an album here?)
Pantera – Power Metal (I've only heard a little bit of their old stuff, but it was pretty good! The vocals were a tad harsh for what I'm looking for here, but still a pretty good song!)
Obsession – Method to the Madness
Heretic – Breaking Point (Any specific songs from the album that you could recommend?)
Metal Church – Blessing in Disguise (Any specific songs from the album that you could recommend?)
Laaz Rockit – City’s Gonna Burn (Like Villain's "Only Time Will Tell", it was a little slow IMO, but not the worst song I've ever heard. I want to be able to get into Laaz Rockit as it sounds like they have all that I'm looking for (I've been on a huge hunt for years for more bands like Toxik and Realm, but there's just something that keeps me from getting to much into them. I do love "Mad Axe Attack" though!)
Laaz Rockit – No Stranger to Danger (Picky I know, but I wasn't a huge fan of the vocals in that song. They sounded off to me!)
Laaz Rockit – Know Your Enemy (Well, I found "I'm Eletric"! That was pretty awesome, so thanks for the suggestion!)
Laaz Rockit – Annihilation Principle (Any specific songs from the album that you could recommend?)
Laaz Rockit – Nothing Sacred (Any specific songs from the album that you could recommend?)
Abattoir – The Only Safe Place (I've already heard some of the stuff from that album, but I'll give it another listen! Thanks again!
Chastain (As with a few of your suggestions, and specific songs from any of those albums that you would recommend?

Thanks again for all the suggestions! I should also mention that I'm looking for a level of production quality when it comes to songs as well. I'm picky I know, but I'm just looking for the best of the best for what I'm interested in! Any who, keep them coming!

Hey, I'm a big VR fan, and "Don't Wait for Me" is the best song off the S/T! Some good suggestions so far, you should definitely check out the Welcome to the Ball album because most songs on there sound similar to "Don't Wait for Me."

Here, check out "Abandoned" it's not on youtube for some reason, but try this 30 second sample.
Abandoned

I also second the recommendation of Pantera's Power Metal, good stuff.

@Metalhaven
Thanks for all the links! I really appreciate it! Although I'm sorry to say only a few songs interested me, specifically the two songs you suggested from Pantera's "Power Metal", and Metal Church's "Blessing in Disguise." I had already heard Badlands, which is an awesome song, so I gave it another listen as well! Thanks again for all the suggestions!

@CrystalMountain
I'd have to agree with you there! It's definitely the most memorable one for me anyways! Thanks for the link! I doubt the preview does the entire album justice though, so I'll see if I can find some more from it! Thanks again though!

This Brainstorm song always reminded me of 'Don't wait for me':

Brainstorm "Lifeline"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAG-z3Zd2R0

Savatage "White Witch"

Any other time I could rattle off at least a dozen no problem, but right now I'm drawing a blank other than those 2 that immediately came to mind, and they aren't the best examples but rule nonetheless.
