Does anyone know of any MK themed metal, be it dm bm doom or whatever ? I wanna listen while I preform some fatalities with human smoke.

Never heard of any. Maybe I should write some for my band.

The MK movie soundtrack had some metal bands on it, but the songs were not about MK. Only the techno theme song was.

Not metal, but - ABACABB, a deathcore band. Their name comes from the cheat code for extra blood in Mortal Kombat. There is a breakdown that starts with "FINISH HIM!" Seems relevant.

KeyDragon's band pic has that one guy holding that Mortal Kombat sphere thingy. Not sure if the music is MK-related or not, though. Plus, it's awful.

Dim Mak isn't MK themed (it's Chinese Ninja themed) but it IS music you can listen to when performing fatalities with human smoke :D

Megadeth's Risk sounds a lot like the Mortal Kombat soundtrack. That's generally considered to be one of the things people hate about it, though.

Haha ill have to check that out, seems like that would be musik to play as subzero tho.

Personally my favorite characters are Ermac, Rain, Reptile and Kintaro. All badass mother fuckers.

I don't know how Powerglove has gone unnoticed in this thread, since you didn't mention knowing about them, but hey, whatever. Not BM/DM or doom, but definitely designed for the game.

Edit: so the random link posted pretty much first WAS powerglove, same song too. 2 recommendations for this band, they're awesome for any video game really.

I don't know why but the vibe I get from Testament's Legacy seriously reminds me of Mortal Kombat sometimes, especially Apocalyptic City.
