I'm looking for doom artists that create a specific kind of sound. Something where the folk and atmospherics and keys have taken over. Lake of Tear's "Forever Autumn" Is a fine example. Also where imagery and lyrics mostly focus on mood, fantasy, or nature like in the case with Equinox ov the Gods. Basically, the inevitable end result of the flowery gothic trend that took over doom and death back in the 90's. That was my first into to metal back with Tiamat's "Wildhoney". I need something to counterbalance all the evil black metal I abuse myself with on a daily basis.
