I'm not at all a fan of techno, I actually only really know one song from memory, but my friend is a huge techno fan and he is constantly playing the shit at his place. Some of it is alright background music, however I find a lot of it lacking in energy and variety, not to mention that the vocal effects fill me with murderous rage.

Basically, I was wondering is some sort of act exists that plays techno (preferably instrumental) with a healthy dose of metal. Basically, what I want is extremely heavy techno, not too complex in structure or anything, and with really huge bass/riffs and obviously shitloads of synth (I quite like when bands such as Dark Tranquillity use synth on occassion, although sometimes it just doesn't work).

Heavy, Death metally, extreme, extreme techno is what I'm looking for.

ID Vision might suit. Not quite my cup of tea, but Plazmadkaos has plenty of techno influence.

Delta 9 from Chicago might be up your alley, Earache actually put one of his records. I was never into the dance/rave/party scene, I have a few friends that DJ; he used to intentionally book himself with trance and happy hardcore DJ's just to piss off and freak out people, he'd drop in some Slayer or Morbid Angel and start a circle pit.

Fear Factory's "Fear is the Mindkiller" and "Remanufacture" sound like something you'd be interested in as well. Both are remix albums, with the former being a remix of "Soul of a New Machine" and the latter being of "Demanufacture" in the style of electro-industrial, big beat, and DNB -- they're fairly well done, too. Enjoyable stuff, IMO.

The Berzerker play Industrial Grindcore with Techno elements, before they were Grind, they were Gabba/Speedcore (Techno Speedcore not Metal Speedcore).

The Berzerker: http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=827

Edit: They are a lot more Metal than Techno, so I f you want it to be mostly Techno, ignre this post.

T3chn0ph0b1a maybe? Last time I listened to them they sounded shit, but I'm not an electronic music fan at all so you might try them.

This. Plazmadkaos is such great, stupid fun. Not the most mature of industrial black/death metal, but it's definitely good for what it tries to be.

It's not technically metal, but you might enjoy Oomph!'s album "Sperm". It's got a lot of synths, but also some good, heavy riffage.

The Monolith Deathcult's release from last year, Trivmvirate, might be up your alley, although there are vocals and you want instrumentals. It definitely has a lot of electronic aspects that you seek, though they do go back to their BDM roots in a few instances.

What you need is some Pain: http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=779

Techno, Metal and Industrial mixed into a cohesive bunch of catchy songs written and performed solely by Hypocrisy and Abyss Studios mastermind Peter Tagtgren.

Psyclon Nine - more techno than metal, which is why they're not on here.

Vortech: death metal style vocals and guitar with electronic beats, the music is sometimes more industrial, sometimes more techno sounding.

There's also Astral, they're not on here, this page seems to load faster than myspace with the same two songs + info:
http://www.showcaseyourmusic.com/astral
I've heard some of their older stuff, it was instrumental, probably not as cool as I was expecting it to be (probably because I was expecting more underground sounding techno), but not bad either. They seem to be sometimes known as "Astral Techno Metal".

Never let anyone trap you into listening to TMDC. It's an ambush! :P
Maybe you'd like the band H.O.E.R.. They don't exist anymore and they were not very fast, but they truly had some great ideas.
And of course there was Atari Teenage Riot. Louder than a lot of metal and their song together with Slayer still sounds great!

Blood Stain Child might be what you are looking for. Melodic death metal, very heavy on the techno. They're from Japan. I'd say they're about half and half, when it comes to metal to techno ratio. Me personally I'm not a fan, sounds like someone remixed some melodic death with some DDR tracks.

Libido Airbag and Nunwhore Commando 666. Of course they're not listed on MA due to them being goregrind bands. They should be listed though if you ask me.

I'm not really sure what to give, but if you want some heavy ass fuckin techno check out Enzyme-X, Ophidian, Rotterdam Terror Corps, Akira, Drokz, DJ Partyraiser, Tommyknocker, Unexist, Tieum, Hellfish, E-Noid, Endymion, Angerfist, Gabba Front Berlin, Manu Le Malin, Negative-A, DJ Radium, Armageddon Project.

Those are the ones I can think of atm, no real metal with them, just heavy fuckin shit, definitely good stuff to mosh too imo.

and while not especially "metal" ive been getting a lot of enjoyment out of endless humiliation's 'my wife is willing'...think ildjarn meets harry pussy with some harsh electronics, sometimes a beat is there, sometimes not.

Closest thing I can think of is Blood Stain Child, but that's been mentioned twice already...
Maybe ...And Oceans' "A.M. God"?

Samael's song "From Malkuth to Kether" sounds this way, and I believe some of their other mid-era stuff has the sound. I just started listening to Senmuth's CD "Ser Cercana" and some songs have a very strong techno sound (although the CD as a whole is all over the board.)

So, no dark electro / aggrotech...

Well,
- Slave's Mask, a side-project of Spellgoth from Trollheim's Grott.
- Divizion S-187
- ... and........... Early Rammstein.

Concrete by Whourkr is fantastic. Best described as Techno/Death with a little grind thrown in (Very Experimental).

I warn you it doesn't sound at all like you think it would and there are vocals but he makes it a point that none of them are actual words just sounds. (At Least 90% of them)

There is no techno in Whourkr. They implement breakcore and some glitch.

Also, Godflesh implement actual techno on their album "Slavestate".

Not exactly techno and metal but corrupt souls and counterstrike play extremely heavy and aggressive drum´n bass with lots of distorted basslines, dark synthpads and metallic sounding, industrial-influenced drums.

What you want is Thorns (NOR) and Void (UK). Void's Posthuman album is insane. Seriously.

There's techno in Thorns? I don't remember there being anything of the sort on the self-titled or the split.

I suppose it's not really techno outright, more industrial... but still. Void is definitely a cross between electronic and black metal.

Well, I mean, it's not techno... At all. Industrial and Techno aren't related in any way. I mean, Thorns are definitely a good band, but they certainly aren't what the OP is looking for. Void probably is more along the lines of what he wants, though ironically they have more elements of actual industrial than Thorns do. They also incorporate other styles of electronic music as well though, so s'all good.

Incidentally, OCD informed me that Void are removing the electronic percussion elements from Void. No more electronic beats or industrial sampling. :(

I hope they decide to keep the bass drops and what not at least. The electronic percussion is one of the more interesting point of Void. Then again, everything else is pretty interesting too...
