I'm looking for bands with multiple bassists i.e. Necromantia. Genre, etc. doesn't matter to me. Thanks for any help you can give.

Use the search function. You have no idea how often this request arises.

Listen to Neoanderthals, a brutal goregrind project with only two bassists, guitar and vocals.

If you want complete trash and pedophilia based lyrics look up Susvoutre. I believe that's the LLN band. Dual basses , no guitar , garbage drums , and horrendous vocals.

Check out Humanoid. Really outstanding stuff with an all-star lineup.

Neoanderthals have only 2 members - a (female) drummer and a bassist/vocalist. That goes also for live setting.

Regardless, something that still caught my attention. Following the gore/grind trend:

Gored
Cunt Butcher

...and no-one has mentioned Brujeria, im guessing because its a well known given...?

The greek black metal band Necromantia uses 2 bassists, and no guitarists. Gives it a very unique sound, i think one of the is an 8 stringer.

I believe Crossing the Fiery path makes use exclusively of that arrangement. Check it out.

EDIT:BUUUT you already knew tha...

:durr: :brick:

The Greek band is Necromantia, and it's mentioned in the OP. Necrophagia is a US death metal band.
