So I'm looking for dramatic metal like songs with big lead ups.
Hard to explain but like music you may hear on TV shows like Worlds Wildest Police Videos but metal.

Can anyone help me out here?

Dark Lunacy play what they call "Dramatic Metal", not sure if that's what you're looking for though, I can't remember the music of that show to compare.

No, they call it Dramatic Death Metal, and I highly doubt it's anything like what he's looking for. Great band though.

If youre thinking of dramatic as meaning epic or grandiose, I would recommend a few good symphonic metal epics:
Poet and the Pendulum by Nightwish
The Divine Conspiracy by Epica
Dreamflight by After Forever
Ghost Love Score by Nightwish
Beauty of the Beast by Nightwish
...And I am Suffering by Virgin Black
Adulruna Rediviva by Therion
The Moon by Dark Moor
My Earth Dream by Edenbridge

All these songs are more than 10 minutes long and are very classically influenced. If you havent listened to them give them a try.
