Celtic Frost's Monotheist is pretty unclassifiable.

They were already mentioned in passing, but Kekal are pretty damn unclassifiable. The Archives calls them "Avant-garde/Experimental Extreme Metal", and the song I'm listening to ("A Dream For A Moment") has a shoegaze-like first half, a weird trumpet solo, a black metal section, and some Dream Theater-like riffs in it - and somehow it all fits together.
