That was a very nice list, and it included some bands that i didn't know before!
But now i have a request that isn't goregrind, bands that sounds like sore throat?

Internal Rot is probably the best example, check them out if you haven't already (and you should have because I've jocked them hard in the past). They have a new LP coming out soon that I'm very excited about. Other bands would probably be Bloody Phoenix, Endless Demise, and deadissue; the first two you probably know of as they have past members of ET, and the last one just fucking rips. I think deadissue has a split with Archagathus coming out soon, check it out.

Internal Rot are good.cant find mp3s nowheres. There's also a cool uk crust band named Internal rot. SHFS suck balls if I remember correctly.

Never bothered with Bloody Phoenix as I thought their name was dumb, but they rip.

Same with Endless Demise... the 50/50 split is dopeshit.

Can't find a thing on deadtissue. teach me how to google.

@FleshMonolith

Unfortunately, there's not much online save for a couple short live clips from deadissue. I had somebody on the TLAL boards dub me their demo tape about a year ago, if I can find my tape converter I can rip some mp3s for ya. I never heard the UK Internal Rot...gonna check and see if they're as good as the Aussie band! As for listening to their jams, just do yourself a favor and order their 7", I think blastasfuk and Crucificados still have copies. And Bloody Phoenix is kind of a weird name, but the tunes rip. I also think they have some new stuff in the works as well.

Edited cause you did go check out 50/50

Endless Demise is great. played with them 50/50, hypochristians, PLF, and I think Laughing Dog in Houston some time ago. it was a great show.

Oh i think Bloody Phoenix was a great name. The main reason I checked them out. They fucking destroy.

Dragunov is working on a split with Kamikaze Pilots. Wasn't even my suggestion... I guess my friend wants to test up his drum skills against mine or something. See who can out do each? Fuck I'm behind both I can tip it either way if I wanted.

I bet that was a fucking KILLER show. Was it 54R that played? Or another band of yours? I bet Hypochristians' bass sound was decimating.

You guys should double drum each track, Melvins style. Picture 2x J. Reed playing Revenge songs? Whoa.

They were gonna tour with Water Torture but Water Torture is basically broken up now. =(

Anyone know of anything like Wasteoid? Crazy spastic grindcore with multiple vocal styles at the same time with a really crunchy bass tone?

it was with the Nautilus. at that time we had morphed from sludgy metalcore-ish stuff to technical grind. like in the structures. We never got to record with that lineup other than practice sessions and some live recordings... and fuck yea it was all total fucking blower bass. That was one of my favorite shows at that band.

54R only has gotten to play with PLF in Houston. I don't remember who else played. it was funny cause it was almost a test between us and PLF on who could do the fastest set with the most songs. I think we both did 20min sets but I think we had more songs. Dave said we were "fucking relentless" I took that as a compliment.

I don't recognize that band Scowl since I already did a band called Scowl and released an album under that before they existed... and to boot they fucking suck.

I've always thought Lord of Putrefaction had some grind elements to their primitive doom/death sound. Maybe it's just me though:

Give me some too, guys, because I seriously cannot think of a single actual grindcore band that blends actual doom metal into their sound. Not "slower parts", actual doom.

Does the first Goatsblood album count? Maybe more sludge but I remember that album being like 50/50 grind and doom.

To me, not really. I mean, there were blastbeats, but that album never really did get to grinding.

The only thing I can think of would be maybe Neon Hole... but they're not doom, just sludge. They do legitimately grind and then play some slow sludgy shit but doom it ain't.

I agree with Dragunov, Goatsblood just utilizes blast beats occasionally. it's not enough to give a tag of grind to it.

On a serious note, what the hell would you call Drugs of Faith? I label it as Sludge, but I dunno... could sneak it in here?

noiserock, as far as i know, is noisy and scratchy. I don't know, yeah Sludge doesn't quite fit, but I don't think The Birthday Party and this really have much in common. I guess his silly tag of Grind n'roll is what has to stay.

it has more in common with the tone and riffs like Millions which is considered noiserock. it def has nothing close to sounding like sludge. not the riffs nor the tone. grind n'roll sorta works but hell that makes me think there would be blast beats and then go into something like Genocide SS.

Hell by that time in their career I don't even funny consider them grind. hell they weren't 100% a grind band either.
