so basicly extreme metal with a dark atmosphere or depressing keyboards, i dont like super slow stuff like funeral doom and not drawn out stuff like suicidal black metal

If you like the latter day Dark Tranquillity albums then I highly suggest revisiting Projector as it's probably the best example of the feel you're looking for. Another band I like to whore out is Darkness Over Depth, some of his stuff fits here some doesn't, but overall I think you'll find the mood and atmosphere this guy can create to be just bad ass. http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Dar ... epth/40923 good luck tracking down physical copies though, they are a real bitch to find.
