Does anyone know of any bands that sound like Demolition Hammer "Tortured Existence" -esque guitars with heavy use of a Doors's debut style organ, as well as wah pedal effects and whammy bar surf guitar usage?

Since no one is of any help, I happened to find Alchemist on my own and am a little ambivalent about their sound...guess I just have to keep listening...

Your request is a little too specific. And I doubt there are many bands that could even be considered psychedelic thrash, anyway.

The Advnce search yields about six bands, only four of which are actually fusing thrash with Psychedalia.
Rain - Psychedelic Thrash Metal
Vengence - Psychedelic Thrash Metal
Moon Of Soul - Progressive Psychedelic Thrash Metal
Neckless - Psychedelic Thrash/Sludge Metal
I'm not sure if any of these match what you are looking for. As said above, your request is very specific.

I appreciate the effort, I'll give them a listen

maybe try Blind Illusion songs like Kamakazi, Death Noise... very funky/rockish sounding thrash metal.

It was ok, I'm looking for something really chuggy with lots of keyboard at the same time, almost like a third layer of rhythm guitar just a keyboard instead

the vocals are bad, but these guys are pretty psychedelic while remaining thrashy.

Also Sigh's Imaginary Sonicscape is another psychdelic album with thrash elements, but not really psychedelic thrash. Worth a go regardless.

I started up a band about five years ago aiming to create psychedelic thrash metal.. started out with someone on a Moog, and it just didn't sound good.. when they left the band, we just started experimenting with a lot of effect pedals. I'd say we were able to get a bit of a psychedelic sound but it's pretty hard to fuse the two IMO. Unfortunately, we never had anything recorded. :(
Hopefully someone will successfully create this sound though.

If you like old school death metal (which is not that far from extreme thrash anyway) you will enjoy Morbus Chron latest album, Sweven. Also, Tribulation's The Formulas of Death has some mesmerizing atmospheres.

take a look!!
