Hello, im looking for a (fairly new?) thrash metal band i listened to some years ago, the only thing i remember though is the album cover (sort of) and the voice of the singer.

Now, the singer had a shrieking vocal style, screaming high, not really raspy.

The album cover, well, it was typical modern thrash, like a painting, the cover was blue-ish and had a blonde guy in it i think, maybe some sort of pilot, maybe he wore a pilot-hat im not sure...

I don't know what to do to find this album so i hope some one here maybe recognizes it

Thanks in advance

The way you describe the vocal style could be just about every other thrash band. And most retro-thrash covers are in the Ed Repka style which is like a painting about world destruction and quite cartoonish.

Can you give any more details like what the band name starts with or what country they are from, any song titles, lyrical themes, lyrical lines etc? Who do they sound like? Are they very technical, in the bay area style or more like Slayer? etc

A long shot, but was it Violator? That's the only blue album cover that comes to mind immediately;

Sounds like Fastkill. Not really sure about the album art but the vocals sound like that.

In the event you mistook a pilot hat for a beer hat and blond hair for a yellow jumpsuit I will recommend Cross Examination since the vocals fit, and they're new-ish but put this album came out a few years ago.

The first thing that came to mind with a blue cover is Havok's Time is Up, where the blonde guy is a yellow coloured skeletal figure.

Then I had a look through a few albums and "Leave Scars" by Dark Angel came up. Blueish? Blonde guy? Yes. Pilot hat? No.

Let's just keep suggesting any thrash album with a little blue in the cover and a person or zombie, or skeleton, or rabbit, or donkey on the front...

The fact that the OP is responding timely is going to make this thread transition smooth as passing a kidney stone.

Okay, so this one only has a little blue, the guy way in the back could be blonde but I'm not sure, and any of them could be pilots really, anyway, it's not thrash metal, but is this the album?

here's a fun little challenge. How long can you listen to this before you even smirk? I made it less than 10 seconds.

I actually thought of that, too. and on the Holy Wars single, Vic also has headgear that could pass as a pilot's hat...
