Haven't heard the sample, but the artwork is nice. I like the original better, but this still looks nice. We saw how original that inspired and creative artist was for the 13 album cover was.. lets cut them some slack for this now, eh?

It is a pretty uninspiring album cover but it's not that bad. I could imagine some kick ass music fitting it just fine. Too bad that probably won't measure up either.

The album cover is meh, nothing going for it.

The song is boring as hell and sounds like most of their other new stuff but on the blander and even safer side. Nothing memorable and just rocks along. I want to hear riffs damnit!

I had two Facebook friends freaking out about how awful it was, and now my curiosity is driving me insane. I can't wait til the release date to hear a potential train wreck! I thrive off that shit!

Holy shit that sucked. Dave sounds more cringe-worthy than ever and the song had no riffs! No goddamn riffs in a Megadeth song? What were they thinking? Endgame was cool but I've pretty much given up hope for Megadeth at this point.

90s Megadeth is bumming its nose at that song. It's that crappy.

Mid-tempo - check. Constipated vocals and dumb lyrics - all present. Predictable structure with repeating choruses - roger that.

Zero riffs. That has to be a first.

Didn't think it would actually be that bad. Apparently, they're not even trying anymore.

Any bets on if this is one of the songs David Draiman co-wrote?

I thought everyone was exaggerating how bad it was, but it was pretty shitty.
In a way, I'm GLAD they took it down.

Somebody! Give Mustaine some drugs!

Here's the song. Not bad, pretty cool intro, but its pretty clear that they're not gonna do anything on the level of Endgame again.

I kind of like it, it reminds me of U2. A daring move for sure. Hopefully there will be some thrash on the rest of the album though.

If it wasn't Dave signing, there's no way I would have known this was a Megadeth song.

But I like it. I don't know why. But I do. It's catchy.

while the song is pretty damn boring, what struck me more is how tinny the sounds are

What the actual fuck, Dave. This is like a Risk b-side. And yet, you made songs like Headcrusher and This Day We Fight! as recently as 2009.

I think it's a cool song, more melodic than Megadeth usually but it sounds good.

Actually Draiman only helped out on two songs, 'Dance in the Rain and 'Forget to Remember' (which is also the title of a Mudvayne song lol).

That being said, that song was fucking lame. Just generic hard rock with really bad vocals from Dave and cheesy lyrics. With the idiotic conservative comments Dave's been making lately coupled with lame songs like this and contributions from a member of Disturbed I think Super Collider is going to be very poorly received from most metal fans.

When will Dave learn that people don't give a shit about his mediocre modern hard rock except his fanboys? Boy that was bland. Don't get me wrong, I like some of Megadeth's softer stuff (I think Youthanasia's great) but with Dave's vocals as they are it really doesn't work anymore.

I'm really excited for the album now, purely for the masochistic schadenfreude it's sure to bring. I didn't even bother with Thirteen because the advance single was so bland and boring, but this? This is something else, this is comical.

 Wow, this song is atrocious. Sounds like Risk-era Megadeth at its shittiest. Totally agree with what BH said; this is downright comedy. And this isn't even the tune(s) with the Disturbed dude? Dave needs to call it quits, for his own sake. I'm sure even Jesus hates this.   :ah-ha:

A new sample from another song, not as awful as the other one, still pretty lame though.

At least it's got riffs, but yeah, it's not remarkable.

Megadeth can (or could, 4 years seems to have aged Dave 10) pull of this type of song right, case in point: How the Story Ends and Bodies etc. off of Endgame, but we'll just have to see.

'Super Collider' sucks. It's lame and I can't say anything that already hasn't been said. As for the new song, it has riffs but it's just a lame song that doesn't stand out. It's that lame, shitty, boring, and fucking lazy 'new Megadeth' sound.

We've already heard that one, for god's sake it's in the OP dude. And it sounds pretty good, kinda like a more thrashy version of Countdown to Extinction.

I can say without the slightest bit of exaggeration that "Crush 'Em" is superior to the leaked track.

The problem is, Super Collider isn't even a good hard rock song. If I was listening to a Van Halen album, I'd still skip over that track. It's better than the new Queensryche at least.

This song sucks so much. I mean, I wasn't expecting much because I thought Thirteen was dire, but this is arguably worse than anything from that album.

You know what'd be the funniest/saddest thing about this album? If the Draiman penned songs turn out to be the best cuts on the whole album.

That song was so terrible. Gah damn, what a train wreck this album is going to turn into. I wanted this album to be so good. Why can't he do what he did in Endgame? What a one off.
