I don't say I hate this band, but the front cover (not counting the others) of their demo is just too plain.

It's a cassette tape demo, dude, not a professional full-length presentation. Cut them some slack.

The cover is just ugly and doesn't even remotely fit the music they are playing on that album. The re-release cover is much better:


PS: I don't think it's fair to post so many bad gore covers. When an unknown band has to make a cover and they decide for a gore/photo cover, it almost certainly turns out ugly or rather hilarious. I think this thread should be reserved for the actually ugly covers, especially by bands that could have done it much better.

Both the covers look abstract and amateurish, but the first one is rather minimalistic, what kind of painting media were they using to draw it!? At least the second one looks much better, though still abstractly amateurish.

I get a kick out of those Witchfinder General covers, considering they are probably the last band in the world to ever see titties. Not saying they aren't cool or write good music, but we all know that doesn't translate into chicks.

I actually like this because it looks like Mount Doom in a realm of psychedelia. Not only is the idea so out of left field that it's awesome, it serves as a funny troll to provoke anyone who takes The Lord of the Rings too seriously. :V
