What are some good underground metal zines?
And anything related to that sort of thing.

The last site never ceases to amaze me. Zines definitely were the metalheads' "Encyclopaedia" in the pre-internet age.

Horrible Eyes:

It's updated once every forever, but it's well done and usually has good interviews.

Down and Out can be pretty nice if you're into black metal.

Oh man, there's a lot! Here's a few from the top of my head, gotta jet to work soon. Horrible Eyes has my vote too, indepth interviews, random musings & articles, mainly black and death metal bands featured. Finland is also home to the Serpent Bearer, Sinister Flame and Kaleidoscope which are worth checking out, the dudes know their stuff and the dedication shines through. These are all currently active, too.

From Denmark you have long-running Tornado Zine, seventh issue came out a while back. Black metal, horror and gore from Ustumallagam, the man behind Denial of God and Horror records.

There's a cool one from the states called Chips 'n' Beer, with wide range of metal bands from various styles, witty, interesting interviews, actually interesting review-section (which I habitually skip over), comics, movies and all sorts of silliness. Check it out, it's worth it.

And a shameless plug here for a zine of my/our own, I am helping a friend to reanimate his old zine called Perverse Gospel, which should be out for summer. Silliness, perversion and real metal is to be expected, made with feverish dedication. Feverish, because I was kinda havin' a flu once when I was making up stuff for the interviews. :)

You should find and purchase a copy of Horrible Eyes #4 as fast as you can.
