Aether Realm is a really good American melodeath/folk band. Their debut album One Chosen By The Gods is streaming right over here.

Its really good. You people will like it. Listen to it.
Between this, Sulpher Aeon, and Abyssal, 2013 is already set to have some excellent albums out after just one week.

Holy shit! I've never really liked folk metal before but this is fucking great! Awesome riffs and the vocals are spectacular. Even though it's kindof out of what kind of metal I usually like, I'm glad I gave this a chance. Everyone should hear this, strong contender for best album of 2013 so far.

No, they are not djent. Djent is deathcore meets Meshuggah ripoff, ie shit. Don't you dare use such blasphemous words to describe Meshuggah.

Ah sweet, this is my friends band and they're fucking awesome! Great dudes too. Anyone who wants a quick idea of whether they'll like this album, check out the track "Oak"!

I can't really remember much about how the EP sounded, but this full length may well be a step up from it - will certainly be checking it out.
