I swear Metallica's one ripped off Deep Purple's Child in Time, From the quiet intro, to the drums and guitar solo.

Right, and they also ripped off Priest's "Beyond The Realms Of Death" for "Fade To Black". Also, there's no way to be inspired by another band without ripping them off in the process.

They also ripped off Saxon's Princess off the Night and Bleak House's Rainbow Warrior. Both were ripped off note for note.

I know; that's why it was sarcastic.

Re-consult your favorite UltraBoris reviews again op, as you're wrong. It's Dark (Fuckin!!!!!!!1) Angel that you're supposed to say were ripped off by Metallica on One.

It's just a brief inter-solo riff thing from the former, and not "note for note" for the latter (not to mention that the Sanitarium intro more going on beside the main melody). You could play these kinds of games for most traditional and thrash metal bands.

EDIT: Ha, in the comments of Rainbow Warrior on YouTube someone mentioned The Strawbs, but no one would bother to care if Rainbow Warrior was a "rip-off" of their song.

The Bleak House riff is so boring compared to what Metallica did. They weren't the first to arpeggiate a nine chord.
Saxon I sort of hear the general idea but Metallica's execution makes it sound totally different. And again Saxon weren't the first to use that progression.

The Deep Purple comparison only works on the fact that it has similar dynamics but Deep Purple didn't invent that.
