It has come to my attention that people are trying to get copies of ‘Walking in the dark’ that was only originally released as a limited addition split single with Jex Thoth! One person had been searching for two years to get a copy and I would imagine it cost him/her an arm and a leg when they finally tracked one down and obviously this is not on! I don’t care about the ‘collector’ brigade or people that buy them only to sell them on at a profit; it’s the genuine ‘Fan’ (“Shit I hate that word”) that bothers me! So…I have asked BBTAD to bring out a vinyl single with ‘Walking in the dark’ on the ‘A’ side and ‘Narcissus’ on the ‘B’ side! As always BBTAD will do a great job of it and will certainly commemorate that early part of our history admirably. These two songs were the first two ever written by Al and I and date back to nineteen hundred and frozen to death before Pagan Altar was actually conceived although only recorded for the first time about 2006-ish…. I think!
We are also contemplating bringing out a CD version for those without a turntable but not sure how viable that would be for the label concerned so, some input from you guys would be quite valuable!
Anyway, hopefully this will solve all the ‘pay through the nose’ scarcity nonsense!
