Technical Death metal band The HAARP Machine's album leaked today as well.

This album is surprisingly refreshing for tech death they present it in a unique way. This is yet another amazing album for 2012.

What are your thoughts?

I have it preordered, so the urge to download the leak is very strong, but Im going to hold off til I get it tuesday. That being said, I was blown away by Pleiadian Keys, Ive been looking forward to this album for too long so my expectations are high. Dont really expect anyone else around here to consider it metal, sadly.

My thoughts are that you shouldn't mention technical death metal and The HAARP Machine in the same sentence. lol I've only listened to the one song and clip, but something more along the lines of Progressive metalcore / technical deathcore / djent would be more appropriate. They sometimes get into a Necrophagist type sound, but that's pretty much as far as it goes, based on those two videos.

Sumerian-core gives a pretty good indication of what their sound is like, actually.

Why is that sad? Do people need to consider it metal for you to enjoy it?
