^ that doesn't match anything at Discogs, where did you by it from?
default question: can you post a photo of the matrix...

That's literally the Norwegian spelling of Dysentery  According to this seller it's the first press: http://www.discogs.com/seller/hvislyset ... itle%2Casc I guess that sort of randomness fits in with Gorgoroth's overall sense of humour.

Considering that guy's selling it for 79 euro, it's either the real deal or the seller is an asshole.

About the Gorgoroth Anticrist cd. two bootlegs of Gorgoroth Pentagram on discogs:
http://www.discogs.com/Gorgoroth-Pentag ... se/3954529
http://www.discogs.com/Gorgoroth-Pentag ... se/3692292
Matrix codes DOOM and GORGOROTH on Pentagram and now DYSENTERI on Antichrist, well, I think that's a bootleg too.

Should be the one on the right as Napalm used that circle logo on tray cards throughout most of the early and mid 90's.

hi to all!
Help with Metallica "The 5.98 ep...."
Mercury, Matrix - 888 788-2 03 # YE MADE IN GERMANY
On cd says - Last cares/Green hell (instead Last caress)
this missprint or bootleg?

and about Iron maiden "Live in Donington", white cover, CD - Made in Holland, back - Printed in UK - this cd must contain booklet or not? (My cd without booklet)

Metallica appears to be a very common misprint
The Iron Maiden 100% is meant to have a booklet, maybe it's a promo copy or the seller lost it.

The Maiden CD did not have a "booklet" in common sense, just a one-sided front and back insert which were always used for those huge double CD cases. Some releases had an additional booklet inside, but this one did not.

Yeah the original fat-case release of Live At Donington had no booklet, I guess they were going for an "official bootleg" kind of feel to it. The 1998 reissue has a full booklet though.

I think this one might be Chinese, it looks similar to my ultra crap copy of Live At Reading bootleg and has some of the same flaws/matrix info etc
This stuff isn't hard to find but now I have to try to find legit copies uggh!

I see Live At Reading at The Warehouse for like $12 all the time. Digipak though. I also have a copy of Bleach on the way that may be an original pressing (was listed as only having 11 tracks) but we'll see...

edit: nope, Geffen reissue, Australian pressing

As for the edges, the color mismatch may be from the sun. I have lots of CDs that, unaware, received too much direct sunlight and got their exposed spine tainted, yellowish, or got their original color changed is some other way.

Looks fine to me, I've seen some mirrored/reversed Sonopress stuff where they have somehow managed to invert the colours, idiots.
What albums are they?

I am hoping somebody can tell me what press, year these cds are and most importantly what the value is. I can only find the Some Girls release on discogs:
http://www.discogs.com/Rolling-Stones-S ... se/1730073
The other 2 albums have the same vertical line on them with information. I checked the CBS collection 1971 - 1989 and the discs look diferent.

All 3 CD's have a Red Tray

These CD's were bought anywhere earlier than 1991 (most probably 1986 - 1987)

1. Rolling Stones - Some Girls (Matrix: Mastered by DADC AUSTRIA CDCBS- 450197 31 A12)
2. Rolling Stones - Tattoo You (Matrix: CDCBS- 450198 22 D7)
3. Rolling Stones - Black 'n Blue (Matrix: Mastered by DADC AUSTRIA)

I have pictures, I'm just having trouble putting them on this post as I suck at using the computer.

Please let me know if you have any information on the value especially.

Thanks

To me that looks dodgy as, what other inconsistencies are there?
You'll need to have a bit of a hunt around to find a photo of the matrix of another one [or ask a Discogs seller]

I had a quick look... google only yields your ebay auction for the matrixes. what's the date printed on the discs?

Thanks RecordCollector, could not find a matrix image for my version anywhere. As I suspected it should look like normal sonopress matrix.

I explicitly asked before placing my order if it was legitimate too... :annoyed:

Well hopefully I can get my money back

kyzanar if you can spare the time can you add it to Discogs as an unofficial release, include scans especially of the matrix too if you can.

Karnarium - to add images you have to use an external hosting site, imgur is pretty good, just upload the images here as an album then just post the link in here http://imgur.com/
Also I'm moving this to the bootleg/ID thread, more traffic in there too.

I have A blaze in the northern sky, transylvanian hunger, and under a funeral moon all on digipak. Now the blaze album's digipak is a matte sort of texture, while the other two are glossy. Im sure of blaze being a legitimate copy, but both of the other ones vary slightly on the matrix

http://www.discogs.com/Darkthrone-Under-A-Funeral-Moon/release/471203 (variant 2)

http://www.discogs.com/Darkthrone-Transilvanian-Hunger/release/369951 (variant 3)

Any ideas?

hey guys, i need to know if my version of Grin by Coroner is the real deal or a bootleg.
The problem is that the matrix numbers on my cd corresponds to both:

The original Noise pressing:
http://www.discogs.com/Coroner-Grin/release/780102

And a russian bootleg:
http://www.discogs.com/Coroner-Grin/release/5780702

Also, mine came with a Noise mailorder card.
Do you think a bootlegger would bother printing that?

Here's some photos:
http://imgur.com/wiHwbtP
http://imgur.com/B9qHyay
http://imgur.com/ffUgw9b
http://imgur.com/EwPoJtU
The mailorder card : http://imgur.com/a6BA3lY,TZLZkdN#0

Oh and by the way, this is my first post! Yay! :)

A bootlegger wouldn't dream of printing a mailorder card
Does the thing smell old? it will likely have that awesome unmistakable old smell
You might be able to compare the volume to something of the same era/something new

Welkom to das forumm
