I don't know about the rest of you, but I thought this sounded pretty awesome. Germany has such great black metal bands.

This sounds great. They've kept the old sound, just a little more diverse than their last offering!

I'll be buying this.

You are quite right about that and Verdunkeln are no exception. I'd go as far as tagging them as a personal favourite.

This song convinced me that the upcoming album will become one of the highlights of 2012.

This is absolutely amazing, it looks like 2012 will be a very good year in metal. Good day for me, new songs from 2 of my favourite artists(other one is the rapper Logic.) The demo is one of my favourite black metal works of all time. I felt that the debut album was a bit weaker than the demo, but still great. This new song is just awesome, can't say enough how great it is. I have a feeling this might be the best black metal release of the year.

Well, I like Lunar Aurora and Nocte Obducta. Not so sure about this though.

haven't heard the track yet, but the demo and full length are awesome with that eerie clean guitar tone.

I have never heard this band before until this track. It sounds good though. I'll have to look into their catalog sometime.

i really don't give much of a fuck for Black Metal but this band just kills it for me, everytime! this track was good, still grand, still cold-this band has always had me thinking of glaciers being watched through a sped up camera, yaknow, and this keeps with that +yes yes yes, they get killer fucking guitar tones!

I got the CD, but I was tempted to the get the vinyl even though my record player is fucked right now. Looking back through Van's catalogue and fuck me they've released some amazing albums over the years. Such a good label. Hopefully the new one lives up to their old stuff, although it'd be pretty hard to back up up the demo or the debut.

I'll probably buy the cd as well (though the etched side "D" is fucking cool), as I've already got the others in that format, so I can listen to it in the car. I doubt very much this will be a disappointment compared to the demo and the debut, and I can't wait to hear it.

I'll probably end up buying the vinyl. I don't feel its as worth it to buy a cd, unless its a nice digipak (they just seem way nicer than jewel cases to me). I love getting vinyl, more to look at, and especially when theirs cool stuff like that etched D side. Can't wait for this. As for listening in the car, its easy enough to attach your mp3 player to the cars stereo (they even have a thing were you can attach it through the tape deck, with a cassette being attached to a wire that plugs into your iPod, my mom used to have it in her old car.)

Their new song finally made me check out their other stuff. Waited long enough :P Really like what I'm hearing, thought they didn't blast it for me yet.

That sounds very good. I like a lot of German BM, but never got to listen to them. Which album should I check out first?

I always like to start from the beginning, and their self-titled is some excellent dark and hypnotic black metal while the following full length is a bit more experimental and interesting. Definitely give them both a go.

The full length took some sinking in, but I ended up loving it.
