This thread will probably get locked down, as it allready started as a list thread, but Elvenking (becouse of their folk-ishness) or Blind Guardian (just becouse they are a great band).

Athough I'm not a power metal fan by any means I am do enjoy Brainstorm a hell of a lot.

I may also be suspicious that this thread is prone to rapid-locking, but maybe we can salvage it vaguely?

My favourite power-metal band of the moment is probably Pharaoh, for the fact that they stand out from the generic power-metal of today by a long distance, and still have un-spent potential waiting to explode into life. Their discography is without a weak album. If only they could/would tour more.

Writing in paragraphs is the future, sentances would be a start.
