Is there a bandcamp list that includes all metal bands that have their material on sale?
I just don't wanna keep searching one by one.

I don't know if this is the right forum for this.

you realize there are probably 20,000+ metal bands on bandcamp, right? this is like asking for a list of all the electronics on amazon. you're better off just using the archives and just checking links since almost all modern metal bands have one: https://www.metal-archives.com/browse/letter

What active bands don't these days?

Google: band name + bandcamp

for some reason the big european power/heavy labels (AFM, Frontiers, High Roller, SPV) refuse to use bandcamp. AFM even signs independent bands that get big on there, then force them to delete their pages after signing. it's pretty counter-productive and infuriating.

Bandcamp has tags you can search. That's literally a list of all metal bands on their site, with a few exceptions.

Are any of those connected to one of the major labels? I imagine High Roller is just doggedly old-fashioned but the other three I'm not sure about. I imagine the majors are reluctant to utilize a platform like Bandcamp, and any label owned by one of them would be affected. Just speculation on my part, admittedly.

At any rate, yeah, the vast bulk of metal coming out these days is available on there. Google will do fine for locating specific bands/labels, and browsing tags and getting recs through your account are good for exploring.

That's pretty sad, because sites like these are the ones that can actually support new bands/unknown bands. A great thing is that it allows you to order stuff overseas. I live in Mexico and I ordered from Austria. Of course it tooks too long, but that's acceptable.

Seriously, fuck all these labels that have oodles of bands signed to them but have no bandcamp. Even Nuclear Blast finally started one up, even if it's extremely lacking in content at the moment.

Yeah op it'd be way easier to search Bandcamp by metal tags than this site by literally any parameter because we don't have a bandcamp tag box to check or anything

I usually just stroll through the Discover function:
https://bandcamp.com/?g=metal&s=top&p=0 ... 0#discover
