So I figured I would create a thread about this band with a silly name called Lesbian. For those not in the know, they're a progressive Doom/Stoner outfit with pretty damn long songs and great instrumentation.
They have two albums out, but I only own and listened to their first output, Power Hor.

I could only find one song off Youtube for the first album, so let's throw that on here.

SO let's discuss!

I have one of their albums and I have enjoyed it. They also remind me of the band The Men of Porn... they have a similar progressive stoner/doom sound but more feedback laced.

Very innovative players with infinitively interesting music. I have only listened to the first album and it is amazing!
Great choice for a band name too :-D

To a degree, I had a hell of a time trying to find them when I had first heard of them.

Not uninteresting, and I'm clean right now. After a couple spliffs, this must be some pretty nice background music to play video games to. The poorly chosen name and totally random bullshit cover art are bound to doom them, though. "Lesbians From Outter Space", "Love Me Some Lesbian Porn" or "We Named Our Dudes Band 'Lesbian'; Ironic, huh?" all would have worked far better in the long run. With just "Lesbian", they will have the same kind of web visibility as a movie like "The Game", unfortunately.

I have been searching for them for a long time, all over the internet. Will now do so musically.

EDIT: Should also provide an excuse for most of my internet history, so yeah.

Wow, these guys are actually good?

I always laughed at the name when I'd browse the shops in Toronto... I just might pick up a CD next time I see them.
