Sounds mega lame. I'd take any Metal track off Illud over that crap any day. It's just a demo though. So we'll have to wait and see what the final product turns out like.

Awesome, I'm glad that Greening is getting into some more extreme music before calling it a day, and it's going to be very interesting seeing how this release will play out with the metal crowd...some of the hardest to please motherfuckers in the musical fandom.

That Halloween cover was cool, but is it really by the same band as this? Seems odd that it's from 4 months ago and we're only finding out about the band now...

Yeah, I'm fairly positive that's not the same band. Time will tell, but come on, just doesn't sound very likely to me.

Hi guys, don't worry, our music have nothing to do with Dimmu or Rammshit......The "industrial" side is more like mysticum, but fucking faster, and i would not says melodic but feeling, like "inno a satana"......Mix anaal nathrakh, 1349 mysticum and good old emperor and you can hava an idea......But the band i just says is just to give an idea, because its realy original.........Be ready to war, and grandiose moments...SIEG HEIL

J'ai crissement hâte d'entendre ça mon gars. Une alliance entre toi et Lord Worm, c'est un gage de succès assuré. Pointez-vous faire un show à Sherbrooke au moins si vous faites une tournée. HAIL

Sounds cool... If it will be fast and chaotic, then I won't have any doubts of how Lord Worms vocals fit there. I hope the industrial elements are tasteful.

Sample sounded ok by me, kind needs to be in the context of an actual song to see how it really goes.

This isn't meant to sound arrogant, but you guys really need to work on the visual/conceptual side of the band. That logo is as anonymous as anything can be and so is the choice of artwork for the site. I would never ever buy an album looking like that in the year of 2011. It reflects a minimum effort from the band at best. Get someone with an eye for this kind of stuff to draw you a logo and pick some proper artwork. The Black Metal scene is already inflated enough as far as Old English fonts and grayscaled oil paintings goes.

Diapsiquir and Abigor both did it right on their recent offerings.

Really, you wouldn't buy an album because the logo is boring and you don't like the art style?

 Wow. I'm just going to assume that you mean that you wouldn't pick it up off the shelf randomly with its current artwork. If average artwork is a dealbreaker for you in general... :ugh:

Anyway, I like Lord Worm, although I felt like his performance on Once Was Not was a little worse than previous efforts. Hopefully this project will be good!

Yeah, me too. But if a band has "unoriginal" artwork and great music, that's not going to stop me from listening to the music.

That was the reason given in the press release. The real reason was musical differences, and Worm didn't want to be doing those vocals on tour night after night at the age of 40 (or however old he is now).

No, but a band with a faceless image is likely going to stop more people from ever hearing their music than one with some sense of identity.

I only buy albums that use Times New Roman as the font.

I don't always buy albums, but when I do, I prefer Old English font.

The fact that Lord Worm is in the band will make plenty of people check them out, cool logo or not.

That's great. Too bad it's not what Im talking about at all. If someone did not know that Lord Worm was in this band, and just saw a fucking generic Old English font and black and white photo, would they be particularly drawn to it? No, because theres fucking tons of those out there.

Post subject:  Re: New Lord Worm project- Rage Nucléaire

Would a cool cover art attract more listeners (who gives a shit about font)? Sure. But the only people who are going to pick this up are doing so because of Lord Worm's involvement. Good or bad cover art is pretty much irrelevant in this case.
