FUCK!!! I had high expectations, but I wasn't expecting this. Lord Worm's vocals are absolutly bestial, but the riffs...holy fuck...the riffs...I need this, now.

Fuck yes. This sounds like "Codex Necro" era Anaal Nathrakh but with thinner production and a bit more black metal. Sit down, naysayers.

What the fuck. That track was way different than the preview, it actually sounded... good. I'll have to check this out after all.

There hasn't been a negative comment yet since the song was posted...and there's a damn good reason for that! Oh my goodness, that song didn't just surpass my expectations, it OBLITERATED them! Every single little bit of that song was made specifically to skull-fuck you with a jackhammer...the unrelenting drums, the ferocious, sharp, dirty, riffing that was somehow melodic (I liken it to Molested in a black metal context) and, of course, the vocals from the legendary Worm...I don't think it's his absolute best vocal performance, but it's definitely his nastiest and most abrasive.

This is gonna own so hard. This is already shaping up to be the best album of 2011.

For the doubters: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyR7WyQb2PQ

EDIT: Just listened to the new track on MySpace. Wow. They might've one-upped Anaal Nathrahk for intensity factor.

Oh fuck yeah! Blistering, hateful riffs, absolutely pummeling pace to the song. And holy shit does Lord Worm sound great! Really suits the music. I am officially pumped for this album.

It sounds pretty good, but I hate the industrial sounding drums. Unfortunate.

And the logo font isn't old english. Unless they changed it. But I agree, it's a shitty logo.

Not really digging the distortion on Worm's longer screeches, but he's definitely taken a page or two out of Vitriol's books. Definitely needs a LOT more thickness to the low end, has no force to it whatsoever, still dig the general concept of what they're doing.

Are the drums programed? cause it really sounds like it's only snare.

The riffs are orgasmic, at very least. Not so fond of the massive distortion effect on Lord Worm's vocals.

Is that because of the programmed drums? I found that it was actually fairly well done despite that, I was impressed and I don't even like BM all that much.

Yeah, does it really matter? They sound (well) programmed to me, but if you weren't sure at first why would that knowledge make any difference? It seems petty to me. I don't really care how something is created, all that matters is the end result, the emotional impact of the music. The particular pieces of technology used in it's creation shouldn't detract from that.

I thought they were programmed to begin with, but I thought this a full band when I first heard of it. So that's why I asked. I can be as petty as I wish since it's my money and I wasn't floored by the end product anyway. It's decent at best and the only reason I was interested was because of Lord Worm's involvement.

The programming isn't above the bar i'm willing to accept for programmed drums.

You don't have to agree or continue to ask or argue or insult me (if that comes out) about my opinion of it cause it's not going to change. You would have more luck arguing with dirt.

Eh? I don’t feel compelled to try to change your mind, I was just stating my opinion on the matter. It is a discussion board after all.

Anyway, after a few listens I’d have to agree with the few that posted about that distortion effect on the vocals, it’s overdone. Man though, some catchy riffs!

This is good stuff. But it sounds to me like the emphasis is MUCH greater on the black metal than the industrial parts - sure, there's samples, and apparently programmed drums, but those could be replaced with more typical black metal aesthetics/techniques and sound about the same.

Also, it sounds like they intentionally cranked up the highest trebles (4khz and above? Not sure), which makes it sound quite distorted and tinny.

Just to let you know that the song "Violence is golden" on Youtube has not been put in line by us, and the sound quality is poor on that version, and really not reflect the actual sound of the album.....not ether on myspace because the mastering is not done yet.

I liked his vocals with Cryptopsy but this will probably be one of those "Meh....." projects

Did you listen to it? Because the vocals might not be very out of ordinary, but the riffs kick ass, and that's what matters the most after all.
