Got a couple CDs at my local record shop:

Blind Guardian - At the Edge of Time, Solid Blind Guardian effort. A couple of standouts: I really liked "Curse My Name" and "Control the Divine". Not quite on par with their classics though.
Demons & Wizards - Demons & Wizards, Decent album but nothing spectacular. On paper it seems like a pretty cool collaboration to do, but the riffs just weren't that memorable overall. If you're a fan of either Hansi or Jon it's worth a listen though.

Also picked up the DVD of the original 12 Angry Men, such a great film. Essential viewing I'd say for a jury. Such good performances.

Fucks sake... I'm like a dog with a bone when it comes to online auction bidding wars. Just blew almost $40 on original CD pressings of Piece of Mind and No Prayer For The Dying :lol: So now I've basically committed to doubling up the entire Iron Maiden back catalog up to Fear of the Dark, which is the only practical alternative to going back in time to 1999 and punching myself in the face for thinking the remasters were so much better...

...or lucked out and found copies of the older, non-remastered CDs :lol: Although the remaster of The Oath of Black Blood is definitely the preferable one, the original was ripped straight from demo cassettes.
