I know some people will be salivating over that Morpheus cd, never understood why though.

Just picked up the reissue of Opeth's Orchid. They're not really my thing but when it's cheap why the hell not and who knows maybe it'll grow on me.

Orchid, as well as Morningrise (for both of which I have a massive, huge sentiment, especially the latter) is quite different from pretty much all later Opeth and even if you don't like what Opeth "normally" sounds like you might enjoy it. The songwriting is a bit chaotic at times, but it just has a beautiful atmosphere and a pretty raw sound, so even if things sometimes drag for too long, it's just so... charming.
