Nice! Although I must admit, these aren't my favorite releases from these 2 bands.

I hit up the Vinyl Conflict in Richmond, VA and got a bunch of stuff:
Occultist - Hell by Our Hands tape
Vinyl:
Amebix - Knights of the Black Sun
Aus-Rotten - The System Works for Them
Doom - Lost The Fight/Pro-Life Control Sessions
His Hero is Gone - Fifteen Counts of Arson

And a yellow & red Vinyl Conflict shirt.

Nice to your haul as well! I still need to get over to Vinyl Conflict at some point... maybe the next time there's a good Strange Matter show.

More I forgot to post earlier:

Seidr - For Winter Fire
Weakling - Dead as Dreams
Echtra - Paragate
Botanist - I. The Suicide Tree / II. A Rose from the Dead

I got it from http://singularitypublishing.blogspot.com/

Just know that the guy who runs it can be slow at responding to emails/shipping orders. He always replied though and the tape arrived in great condition.

Also, according to the band's facebook page, the album will be reissued on CD on Misanthropic Art Productions later this year.

Vinyl Conflict is a really cool place, great selection (more in the punk spectrum than metal though) and super friendly staff. The Seidr CD is amazing, quite possibly my favorite doom album ever. Need to get the Weakling album at one point though, been meaning to for a while.

I got this tape from Singularity earlier in the year and in my experience the label was slow and did not respond to all of my emails, however, I did eventually receive my order.

Azarath - Blasphemers' Maledicitions how does this compare to the other albums? they have a new singer or something from memory.

trudged through the pouring rain today to get this lot:

16 ‎– Bridges To Burn [never heard them but i like sludge metal, i have high hopes, NEW with $20 off nice]
Biohazard ‎– Kill Or Be Killed [german version, these guys have really grown on me recently, the song 'punishment' got stuck in my head years ago]
Blood Duster ‎– Lyden Nå [not for me]
Carcass ‎– Reek Of Putrefaction [double sided hybrid disc, videos and stuff on 1 side and music on t'other, digipak]
Cultus Sanguine ‎– Shadows' Blood [50% off so took a gamble, hopefully it's good, original 1997]
Deceased ‎– Surreal Overdose [not for me]
Entombed ‎– Uprising [uk version, lets hope it's a good one i see they have maracas and a tambourine in the credits, cough]
Extreme Noise Terror ‎– Damage 381 [us version, 1997]
Mangled ‎– Most Painful Ways [whoah! killer death metal, i like and no surprises that they are dutch]
Morbid Angel ‎– Entangled In Chaos [i paid too much for this, but fuckit i really wanted it, i just need an original blessed ar the sick to complete my collection, i keep finding reissues with bonus songs and stuff, uggh]
Neurosis ‎– Through Silver In Blood [interesting stuff [neurosis fans are probably laughing at that] will need a few listens, original 1996]
Promise Of Bloodshed - Hatred Inherit [kiwi thrash death metal from memory [apparently they are metallic hardcore], haven't heard them in a while - not in the MA database or discogs]
Urgrund ‎– The Graven Sign [more catchy as oz black/death, i have 2 of theirs now]
Various ‎– Grind Madness At The BBC The Earache Peel Sessions [uk version, 3 disc ltd edition, featuring the usual suspects...]

I actually did laugh a bit! I can say that in my formative years in metal that album was really hard to understand, it actually took me three years of experimenting it to be able to fully grasp it. Now I sleep with it below my pillow! :p

Awesome album. There's a Russian guy that's had a few copies on eBay for awhile, but the shipping costs would be absurd.

To be quite frank, I haven't heard anything by them before but I was blown away by their excellently dark and menacing atmosphere. And the fact that Inferno from the mighty Behemoth drums on the album and does a damn fine job, too, absorbed me.

Yeah the Seidr cd crushes. It's definitely up there on my list, hopefully the new album will be this good! I enjoy the Weakling as well, but I think it drags a bit towards the end.

The Booby Animal returned riding on her broomstick through the storms of the North Sea from London. She brought me some goodies:

Absu - Abzu digipak
Aura Noir - Hades Rise
Anvil - Monument of Metal compilation

I hope she gets at least up to D in the alphabet when she's abroad in a record store...

Yeah, the upcoming Seidr album is very near the top of my list of most anticipated albums. Also, how's the Echtra CD? I very much enjoy the 2 Fauna albums but I haven't had the chance to look to much into Echtra's work yet.

Went to a local second-hand chain shop and made a wee little haul.

Enforsaken - The Forever Endeavor (For what it's worth, has a sampler disc for Olympic Recordings. Without track names on the disc or in the booklet, hell if I know which band plays what, but...)
Mendeed - The Dead Live By Love
Peshmerga - Murderous Acts Of Cruelty
Seigfreid - Eisenwinter (With bonus track)

All for under seven/eight bucks apiece.

It's great, the metal parts are a bit more drone-y/less riffy than Fauna, but still similar in terms of the acoustic/ambient sections and the fact that the album is basically one song divided into two parts. At times it's pretty doomy as well. The one review it has does a pretty good job explaining it.
