Cirith Ungol - Paradise Lost (Org Restless Records Press)
Septic Flesh - Esoptron (Org Holy Records Digipak) - thus completes my Septic Flesh album collection

From No Colours:

Graveland - Cold Winter Blades E.P
Nargaroth - Spectral Visions of Mental Warfare (Ltd A5 Digipak)

You mean you got both Paradise Lost and Esoptron for $10 in total? :aww:

And I thought this was cheap

Yep, both for just under $10, actually. Bargain. Been after Esoptron in particular for a while now, but never willing to pay the eBay prices.

i'm hoping it's an original but the thing is in the post so i'll not know 100% until it's here, i have the cool yellow lp already.

FFFF

Nice, fingers crossed you snagged an original.

I love how Austrian death metal is that bit kinky, always makes me laugh. It's not like it is gore/porno grind perverted but just that bit sleazy. Must be something in their water.

Whitehorse side doesn't disappoint, it's brutal heavy and a very slick track. Batillus... whatever, can't get into them.

Antigama - Resonance
Blut aus Nord - Memoria Vetusta II: Dialogue with the Stars
Carpathian Forest - Defending the Throne of Evil (Cold Murderous Music won me over. This kinda what I wanted Netra's debut to sound like)
Crowpath - Son of Sulphur

hi man, yeah my mate has family in the us-and-a and was going to get a couple sent over for us but it never happened 8(

I got both Providence and The Sleeping Gods CDs sent to a USA friend after mailing Scion and asking for a copy a couple of weeks ago. Problem now is sending them to Europe as USPS is damn expensive ($16.95). Funny thing, my friend offered to rip both to mp3/flac and put them online, so it's kind of back to zero. Wait for his next Europe visit or spare some beer money.

Edit: forget it, checked the prices on the usps site and he can send it for $5 :)

Crusty thrift store tapes:

Image

Dead Kennedys - Give Me Convenience... (no j-card, obviously)
The Cure - The Head On The Door
KMFDM - Naïve/Hell To Go
The JAMC - Automatic (rectangular cut-out mark on the spine... annoying!)
The Sugarcubes - Here Today... (see previous note. urgh...)
The Specials - More Specials

There were other nice tapes as well, but those were what I could afford ATM.

Picked up a couple of cheap second hand CDs:

Majestic - Trinity Overture
Kamelot - Ghost Opera

Now I have almost all of the Khan Kamelot albums. I'll pick up Seige Perilous whenever I get around to it, I guess, then maybe start getting the Conception albums.

I bounced tons of e-mails back and forth to Scion who had some ready to ship to me, but as soon as I mentioned I live in the UK - nope. I hunted high and low for someone in the US to ship to me, no luck. Even looked into post forwarding companies, but Scion wouldn't ship to those - saying it had to being a residential address. FML. There's no way I'm paying eBay prices for them, but I would've certainly covered postage costs and a little extra for beer money as a 'thanks'.

Yes, I covered everything on the first e-mail and offered to cover the extra shipping expense, got the no shipping out of the USA reply, but they suggested the obvious solution: "Unfortunately we aren't allowed to release anything internationally, but there are ways around this, such as having a friend in the states ship it to you". I just gathered a list of about 5 USA friends and started inquiring if they would do me the favor, the first one replied with an "Ok, no problem, as long as it's not dope".

You should get more friends.

Haha, indeed. Well, the only people I know in the states are 'internet' friends, and have the same taste in music so already snagged their copies. Tough shit to me, I guess. :-)

Have you had a chance to give this a spin yet? I'd love some feedback on it, especially in comparison to The Ritualist. The album cover, song titles, and album name...it all is very weak and makes me nervous about the quality of the album. Doesn't look nearly dark enough.
