Asphyx - The Rack
Met a friend who I haven't seen in ages, had some drinks, and bought Asphyx's debut. I had a great day.

Agreed. Don't bother taking a photo if it looks like crap. You don't have to do it, and with quality like that no one wants to see it.

Did you get the ''free item from Nehëmah's Shadows from the Past tour 2002'' ? If so, what was it?

Yes, I got a free item, it was an unused concert ticket from one of the gigs 2002.

While exploring a local record store, I came across and purchased Mercyful Fate's Melissa, original pressing:

Only slight wear to the sleeve:

Also got a Dying Fetus Picture disc (Destroy the Opposition), County Medical Examiners (Olidous Operettas), and Cattle Decapitation (Humanure-slightly warped, but I'm fixing it)

Definitely, it was funny to see how many other people tried to go for it in this dinky little record store. Once I had my claws on it, I wasn't letting go.

My brother got the Music For Nations pressing of Melissa for £10 from ebay a while back. A really impressive feat would be to find a copy of the S/T "Nuns Have No Fun" EP for a reasonable price. I saw one in Florence last year, and it was priced at 350 euros or something ridiculous like that.

It's funny, on the back it says something along the lines of "Also out now, Mercyful Fate's self-titled EP!" Now I know that'd be a feat to find. I wouldn't mind so much if they just repressed it all sometime soon. I'm content enough with Melissa original pressing. I feel bad for anyone that wants to collect more than one or two things from Mercyful Fate :/

Nice one! Keep meaning to get these!

Foxtrot is such a strange cover though.

I was originally never sure where to start off with for Genesis but then I saw some of their albums on sale and picked up Foxtrot. I actually went with the album with the least amount of tracks and that turned out to be a good move since I'm liking Foxtrot the most so far, especially when it has Watcher of the Skies, Get 'Em Out by Friday, Time Table and Supper's Ready. Some damn good material right there. I hear Selling England By the Pound is another really good one so I'll have to get it soon.

Just pre-ordered Barren Earth - The devil's resolve limited edition.

I also re-ordered Obsequiae - Suspended in the brume of eos. First time I ordered it, it never arrived. Let's try again.

You can preorder it straight from the Plastic Head website. Amazon also has it up for preorder.
