Lost Wisdom, what is that Ghost album? I haven't seen that around. Something new? A bootleg? What's on it?

Yeah it's a bootleg called 'The Early Rituals.' Contains their first demo on one side, and a screen printing of Emeritus on the other.

of course you did :nods:
is legion old and still sealed or a recent reissue?

All were sealed. Legion and Here In After look to be original pressings. Cross The Styx was a limited gold disc 2009 digipack reissue put out by Metal Mind Productions. It comes with three bonus live tracks. I got number 1903/2000. Dawn Of Possession was a 2003 reissue also done by Metal Mind Productions. All of these are c-ds I have been pushing off buying for years just because I have been occupying myself with other bands. All though with Sinister, I just recently discovered their early material. I was only familiar with their newer stuff which didn't excite me a whole lot. Now they are my current obsession, lol.

metal mind did a sinister 'box set', it's pretty low budget like most crappy metal mind stuff
i paid way too much for mine, you americans can get them cheap there, someone in here got one for like $20 [?!] not bad for about 9 cds and a dvd

Yeah, I am actually looking into it. I figure, in the long run, buying the box set would be cheaper then tracking down their whole discography. However I havnt found it for any cheaper than $80 plus shipping and I cant justify parting with that kind of money on it at this point in time. I just fear the longer I wait to pick it up, I may lose my chance. I am kind of kicking myself in the ass for not at least buying the Cross The Styx/Diabolical Summoning duel disc reissue because I cant find Diabolical Summoning for what I would consider a reasonable price either. These jacked up prices are bull shit. No rare under ground extreme metal c-d is ever going to be worth that much, lol.

We got one near our house (Fremont, CA), and found Autopsy's first album and (not metal but awesome) Utopia's self-titled and RA. Also found a Six Feet Under CD, but nobody cares about them (granted they've certainly improved on their last couple of albums, but that's a whole different topic).

I'm actually amazed what you can find there.

I normally go to the one in Bloomingdale since it's the closest one too me but I also go to the palatine one pretty regularly, yesterday was Bloomingdale. I make it a point to stop in whenever I see one though since you can find some real gems buried in there from time to time.

Cool. I went to the Bloomingdale one for the first time on Sunday, and I found a decent copy of In Search Of Space on vinyl.

Quick trip to the store today:

-Discharge - The Realities of War 7"
It was $3.75 and I like Discharge.

-Darkthrone - Panzerfaust #638/2000
Because Darkthrone. This is my favorite band, and I buy pretty much every release of theirs that I find. It's not the Back on Black gatefold, just a Peaceville reissue.

-Skitsystem - Stigmta
Skitsystem fucking rules, and this is their best. Dark, metallic crust in the Swedish d-beat(ish) style.

I don't collect vinyl so I typically don't pay any attention to them but I have seen some good ones there before. Here's what I got from amazon today, Ouroboros - Glorification of a Myth, Sorrowseed - The Extinction Prophecies and Alcest - Les Voyages De L'ame. Also I got the most recent Torchbearer release the other day.

Another successful trip to Half-Price Bookstore led me to buy the new Testament album with the bonus tracks and the DVD. For $6.

Eh, not gonna lie, didn't like Roorback at all. Maybe I need to give it a second chance but this album was a bit dull for me. Can't complain since I bought it on a whim and didn't look up any reviews first...

you can find my current trade list always in the trading section here ;-). But I've done so many trades, sales and purchases here that there are at least 50-60 names missing in my sig as there is no more space for more names :-(

Bolstered my Obituary collection last weekend/this week, all original CDs of course:

Obituary - Cause of Death, I like this album more than Slowly We Rot, seems to usually be the other way around. That Celtic Frost cover is really killer too, perfect band to cover them.
Obituary - The End Complete, This album is fucking awesome. Especially "Killing Time", that riff is so addicting.
Obituary - World Demise, This one is on order, hasn't gotten here yet.
Obituary - Back from the Dead, A rap track at the end? Hehe, could be amusing.

Dude, nice haul there, especially the books, The Monkey Wrench Gang is a personal favorite of mine, I'm re-reading it right now. Fire on the Mountain is another great book by Edward Abbey.
