Just got The Atlas Moth - The Old Believer. I'm really enjoying it so far, it's a nice progression from their sound on their previous album An Ache For The Distance.

Just got in 2 rarer Antigama releases today... Roots of Chaos and 9 Psalms of an Antimusic to Come. Real great stuff.

Yeah, I'm really gay for Antigama.

It's totally fine to be gay for good music man

Another fairly large swap deal at MA, arrived last week or so

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath Vol. 4 [US, old reissue]
Brutal Truth - Evolution Through Revolution [US, I've wanted this CD for ages, I have the red LP]
C.I.A. - Attitude [2004 remastered reissue, who knows why?! also this version has a completely different track listing to the original wtf] new to Discogs http://www.discogs.com/release/5798832
Dysrhythmia - Barriers And Passages [US, Digipak, not bad, has most of the current Gorguts lineup...]
Exit-13 - High Life! [US, 2 CDs remastered, CD 1 is just Ethos Musick and is cool but I already have an original, CD2 is loads of odds and sods I've not heard before, great stuff]
Grave - Into The Grave [US or UER, original, wanted this for a while, I have the original LP too]
Hell Rules: A Tribute To Black Sabbath [US, not bad, another Dwell Records tribute compilation...]
Maze Of Torment - Death Strikes [US, ripping death/thrash, these guys are excellent, I have 3 of their 6 albums now]
Triptykon - Eparistera Daimones [US, jewel case version, this is wicked! and *properly* heavy]
Unsane - Blood Run [US, slipcase censored version, good stuff, these guys have way more albums than I thought

Bought these from a seller on NWN! recently, they arrived yesterday

Bolt Thrower - Those Once Loyal [BRA] new to Discogs
Exhumed - Gore Metal [BRA, not my favourite band but this is quite good]
Kreator - Terrible Certainty [BRA, remastered reissue with Out Of The Dark... Into The Light as a bonus]
Deiphago - Satanik Eon [CAN, one of the first 1000 so it's numbered/ltd ed and has the Sarcofago cover, there's a Hellhammer cover too, I wonder how many times he says SATAN! on this muddy mess of mayhem]
Slaughter - Fuck Of Death [US, rehearsal with Chuck Schuldiner from Death, pretty rough and rugged]
NunSlaughter - Hex [US, mega huge folded booklet ov deth, why?!]
Manticore - Ritual Cleansing Of The Whore [GER, wicked stuff, I really dig this band]
Marduk - Those Of The Unlight [FRA, an old repress or reissue, I have an original too]
Axis Of Advance - Strike [SPA, their first album, quite different to their newer stuff, needs a few more listens]
Masacre - Barbarie Y Sangre En Memoria De Cristo [COL, Digipak with some live songs on it, not bad]

Trying to save some cash, but a recent paycheck did land me a few MP3 albums:

Bolzer - Aura
The Fall of Every Season - Amends

Neither of which I've ever heard before.

I hope to get some time to play the Stormheit album today, sound slike it's quite good then!

Nice score yourself, the stuff in the first photo is all great stuff.
I really liked the Silmäpuoli Ep, just the way I like Neo Folk to sound. I have no idea about the lyrics and stuff but it sounds nice :P

What is the ''Karjalan'' stuff? Looks interesting... :P

Thank you!

If you liked Silmäpuoli, I'd recommend you to check out Key. It is very similar in my opinion (at least the sample track in Soundcloud. Haven't had the chance to play the EP with my turntable yet). I'd guess there are same people involved with both projects.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCfZvZp3axM

And Karjalan Sissit is Finnish/Swedish Martial Industrial project of Mikko Pesonen. Highly recommended! I'm sure you'd like it. Their music sounds fucking massive!

Is anyone else finding it impossible to access the Omega Mailorder's current "summer solstice" sale? Last weekend there was a Father's Day 30% sale; now there's a 35% one -- and in neither case was I able to sort through the section of their site dedicated to the sale. Actually at first I could, but after flipping through a few pages, the whole thing just grinds to a halt.

Here is a random page.

http://www.theomegaorder.com/s.nl/sc.8/category.457912/ctype.SS/SS.457912/.f and this does too
but your link didn't load the page http://www.theomegaorder.com/s.nl/sc.8/category.459187/ctype.SS/SS.459187/.f?range=3141%2C3160%2C3168

Ha, thanks for the speedy service there.

Yeah I dunno, depending on which url I plug into downforeveryone I either get "it's just you" or "it's not just you." Even those links you just provided, with the ranges removed, they don't load for me. Yet the Omega main page, or any other page on their site, loads fine. Oh well, I probably don't need to be spending more $ on their sale inventory anyway. Thanks, though.

edit: now without annoying fingerprint smudge on cover! There was a glob of adhesive on the booklet's last page, sticking it to the plastic of the tray of CD #2. Nice.

I've been listening to a few older albums as of late, kind of on a melodic death/thrash binge at work nowadays. I can thank a friend of mine for lending me several of them:

Children of Bodom- Something Wild
Children of Bodom- Hatebreeder
Slayer- South of Heaven
Slayer- Reign in Blood
Anthrax- Spreading the Disease
Ensiferum- Unsung Heroes
Kalmah- Swamplord (Can't believe I only just discovered this band, by far I've been most impressed by this one)
Kalmah- They Will Return
Disarmonia Mundi- Mind Tricks
Iced Earth- Glorious Burden (Probably the most underwhelming of the set overall)

12 gauge is my personal favorite; though that one is a close second. Very talented band.

My order from HMV Japan arrived today (took 3 days!).

Image
Liv Moon (Symphonic Metal): Double Moon, Golden Moon, Symphonic Moon, The End of the Beginning

Image
Septic Flesh "Titan" - not sure if getting the Japanese pressing was particularly necessary, but whatever. :P In case anyone is interested, the bonus tracks are: 1) The First Immortal (Orchestral Version) 2) The Vampire from Nazareth (Live) 3) Five-Pointed Star (Live)

Nice stuff as always, Perdition. Well, I really mean just Liv Moon there. Can't say I really care for Septicflesh

Here's my assorted auction winnings from the past month that I finally have. Everything is in great condition which is really nice.

Image

MinstreliX - Memoirs
Light Bringer - Midnight Circus
Gargoyle - G Manual II
Gargoyle - Borderless
Gargoyle - 巡礼印

I'm actually only 3 orders away from finishing off the rest of Gargoyle's albums and EPs now. Damn.

I'm inclined to agree with you having just listened to it. I love 12 Gauge's thrashier sound, it feels more refined to me than their earlier work.

Got this great big pile of awesome stuff from my local wicked music shop, took an age to add and update them all!
Some of this goes straight to my trade list for various reasons...

1349 - Demonoir [NOR, original Indie Recordings, I have the double CD with the cover songs too]
Abigail - The Early Black Years: 1992-1995 [a few covers and some very black metal]
Acid King / Altamont Split [US, some excellent stoner doom here, I've not heard [of] Altamont before]
Anatomia / Grudge / Coffins - DDDH - Doomed To Death, Damned In Hell [ITA, 3 way death/grind split]
Angelcorpse - Exterminate [Original! not hard to find but I've wanted it for an age]
Aura Noir - Hades Rise [original Digipak, more ripping black thrash]
Autopsy - Shitfun [UK, original! I've wanted this for a while]
Beherit - Beast Of Beherit - Complete Worxxx [FIN, really cool compilation, probably my favourite release of theirs]
Black Witchery - Upheaval Of Satanic Might [US, Red Stream version, accidental purchase I thought I didn't have it]
Bulletbelt - Down In The Cold Of The Grave [NZ, black/thrash metal band from NZ, really good live, Nick Keller artwork too, nice]
Conqueror - War Cult Supremacy [Original! looks like I can flick off my reissues now]
Convulse - Inner Evil [FIN, only an EP but it's cool, pity someone folded the booklet]
Darkspace - Dark Space I [ITA, reissue in slipcase but the silver disc not the black one, whoah this is excellent, I must have played this 8 times since I got it] new to Discogs
Electric Wizard - Let Us Prey [US, wicked but I think I have another copy on the way too, oops]
Godflesh - Slavestate [2009 reissue, part of the 3 CD box but only Slavestate]
Hate Eternal - Fury & Flames [US, easily my favourite HE album, I'm yet to hear Phoenix Amongst The Ashes though, I have 2 copies of this now]
High On Fire - The Art Of Self Defense [original, I have the second reissue too, with the cool Eagle]
The House Of Capricorn - Sign Of The Cloven Hoof [NZ, fairly solid NZ metal band, needs some more listens]
Jungle Rot - Fueled By Hate [original Olympic version]
Krieg - The Black House [this had been in the shop for ages and I kept skipping over it because the spines didn't look very metal ha ha it's pretty solid BM, cool intro to]
Lust Of Decay - Kingdom Of Corpses [US, I don't usually go for goregrind but this isn't bad, Deicide cover too]
Malevolent Creation - Envenomed [this is basically Envenomed II with the 3 bonus songs, Dark Angel cover and 2 demo tracks, but with the old packaging - standard jewel case, I have the original too]
Method Of Destruction - Dictated Aggression [UK, solid, sounds like MOD]
Monster Magnet - God Says No [EUR, advance copy in a slimline jewel case]
Pig Destroyer - Terrifyer + Natasha [CD/DVD, I have 2 copies of this now]
Prong - Scorpio Rising [SPA, solid and I seem to know all the songs, interesting]
Prong - The Peel Sessions [Dutch East India Trading version with the orange cover, I have 2 copies of this now]
Pungent Stench - Dirty Rhymes And Psychotronic Beats [Uncensored Version II, I have 2 copies of this now]
Scott Kelly - Spirit Bound Flesh [Digipak, not my cup of tea at all]
Strapping Young Lad - No Sleep 'Till Bedtime - Live In Australia [AUS, original Australian version]
Unsane - Wreck [latest slab of noise from the masters, good stuff too]

That Autopsy cover art is so tasteless.... sorry for the equally awful joke/pun but that cover/title... ugghhhh, they should have just gone for something completely over-the-top and preferably hand-drawn.

Anyways I got my Inquisition digipak tomes the other day (friday?):

Inquisition - Into The Infernal Regions Of The Ancient Cult (digipak "tome" edition)

And since Invoking The Majestic Throne Of Satan hasn't seen a CD reissue I went crazy with the photos:

Some CDs from DDR and HHR:
Image
Dead Congregation - Promulgation Of The Fall (only listened to once, good stuff, def. on par with their debut)
Emptiness - Nothing But The Whole (still need to give a spin, enjoyed their last one)
Mitochondrion / Gyibaaw - Rituals Of Transcendence / Liimk Halaayt (cool stuff though the Mito tracks are the highlights not surprisingly)
Ocean Chief - Universums Härd (heard they went for a slightly different sound so I'll see how that plays out...)

And last but not least, Mitochondrion - Parasignosis (gatefold 2LP with poster and booklet). Got this from DDR and I would highly suggest all Mito fans jump on it, limited to 500 copies and a very well-done release. Thank you ogmetal:

EDIT: Got this stuff too from Listenable Records:
Image
Luciferion - Demonication (The Manifest) (Finally reissued! digipak)
Listenable Records Sampler
And some Axegressor poster + postcard (if anybody wants either of these, poster or postcard, PM me, I don't want them and am willing to give them away minus the cost of shipping)
