Nice scores forestcorpse! Especially that Cosmic Church trilogy. I bought the original tapes just a few days before the release of that compilation DLP was announced. I'm not regretting my purchase but it was a funny coincidence.

Thanks again ;)

Ha, yes I remember that. Really cool to have the tapes though, would like them myself.
The Lp looks very good with gatefold cover including lyrics in both Finnish and English.

Picked these up at a local record store for "Record Store Day" / "Black (Metal) Friday." Both are re-issued LPs.

Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas (LP)
Borknagar - The Olden Domain (2xLP)

Got a couple of CDs in the mail today:

Abhorrence - Completely Vulgar (Awesome packaging, the gatefold digifile is just a beauty and the booklet is massive!)
Beyond Creation - The Aura (Thank you MA!)

I remember someone asking where one could get a copy of the Vinterland reissue some time ago in this thread. If you're reading this just PM me and I'll give you pointers. ;)

Just quickly scrolling through that collection I saw Overkill, Toxik, Deathrow, and Cyclone. A+ sir, Deathrow's Deception Ignored is criminally underrated-as are pretty much all of the late 80's early 90's tech thrash masterpieces. Good to see other people big into forgotten thrash :).

The first four pics are from a private seller whose house I went to this morning with a few dollars. He let me sift through everything, and I'll be making another trip back soon. The demos are all originals, and when I saw those Bathory albums I nearly shit my 41-year old self.

The rest of that collection, believe it or not, is from the same guy after he sold them to a local store. I told him to cut the middle man and that I'd offer him more per CD and he could sell them to me for less than the store, so it all worked out well for both of us.

that place sounds like my local music shop here, they pay virtually nothing [under $2] and sell them for almost $20

Those aren't just regular Bathory records, those are Banzai's! Is the Warrant also a Banzai?

I think this is it

Here's the 54 track version for $25.

The same thing was done with the first 2 Carcass albums. I see it on ebay often enough. I got mine in a goregrind lot and it came out to just 5 bucks a CD so keep your eyes peeled.

I'm not sure; before I could say anything he said, "$20 for both sound good?"

Well, yeah...it does.

Why yes, all in jest my friend! In all seriousness, congrats. I would kill for some of those, and Deception Ignored is in my top 20 favorite albums of all time.

Just scooped up the new reissue of Death's Spiritual Healing. Fell on hard times a couple years ago and wound up selling all of my Death CDs so I'm buying them all back slowly but surely. Also got Bad Religions' Empire Strikes First from Soundchaser Music, same copy that I sold to them a couple years back.
