Ashes to Ashes - Cardinal VII

$14 on Amazon, pretty good price for this album I think. Brilliant music. Can't wait to own it.

I recently bought Stratification and Freermasonry, both by Wold. The former arrived ridiculously quickly and is fantastic. Still waiting for the latter.

Dexter Ward - Neon Lights

Don't feel like taking a pic of just one CD.

Love this band! Back in 2004 I re-issued their debut (Shapes Of Spirits) for them since the only version at the time was the CDR pressing the band used for promoting. They re-did the artwork and liner notes and I had it pressed on a legit silver disc. There's 200 of them floating around somewhere but I never see them pop up. Actually about 195 of them as I think I have 4 or 5 still sealed around here somewhere.

Nice! I got that one on order (I have to wait until the end of the month due to other pre-orders though). My first foray into that band, actually.

Nokturnal Mortum - Голос сталі
Baptism - Morbid Wings of Sathanas
Tiamat - A Deeper Kind of Slumber

Funny thing talking about the generally huge price that Nokturnal Mortum I've seen in the "if you could have one album..." thread. Hell's Headbangers just posted it up on Friday for $14. Immediate purchase. Also got the other two from there.

EDIT: it's a good thing I did spring. It's already sold the fuck out. Funny enough, so's that Tiamat album.

I saw you snagged the vinyl! I should have known you had the tapes as well. I can't wait for Hellfriends man. There's something very special about this band. I can't recommend them highly enough for anyone who digs Mercyful Fate and Future Tense.

Dexter Ward - Neon Lights (I listed it in my last post here, but no photo, so here it is).
Beastmaker - Lusus Naturae
Naam- Vow

I'm excited about Beastmaker. A local doom metal band who put out their debut full length on Rise Above Records! That's cool as fuck, as far as I'm concerned. The band's pretty good too. It gives me hope that maybe I can get my own doom metal project going. :-D

Picked up a few things yesterday and most of them under $10.00 happily.

Chthe'ilist - Le dernier crépuscule

Corsair - Corsair (I got Ghosts of Proxima Centauri as a freebie from HHR and liked it well enough. Saw this one in the $2,99 bin and figured why not)

Darkthrone - Under a Funeral Moon (2CD version with commentary disc, have been wanting to start getting a few of those)

Dio - Lock Up the Wolves

Entombed A.D - Dead Dawn (picked this up on Saturday actually, at the show)

Helloween - Walls of Jericho (LP, 1986 Combat version. I got home and played it only to realise it was a misprint that had Side A of To Mega Therion and only Side B of Walls of Jericho :( ...which is a bit annoying. Part of the reason I bought this record (other than its Helloween!) was because my cd player is slowly dying and for some reason not playing my copy of Walls of Jericho anymore. So I figured problem solved with the record...apparently the problem is only half solved :ugh: ).

Unleashed - Odalheim

Taking a break this year from buying buttloads of albums, but since NWN is currently having a 25% sale, I snagged a few: The Fog's Perpetual Blackness, Kaamos' Lucifer Rising, and the comps of Thou Shalt Suffer and Goddefied. Apart from that, I've managed to only buy 10 albums so far, most notable of which are the new Wakedead Gathering (and their album preceding that), Hyperion's Seraphical Euphony, Hostium's Bloodwine of Satan, the Panphage demo comp, and the Circle of Dust s/t remaster.

Also got Gnome's Silent Scream and W.A.I.L.'s Wisdom through Agony into Illumination and Lunacy, neither of which is easy to descriptify but both of which are pretty damned mindblowing. The former is Japanese black metal/ambient that kind of starts at Burzum but ends up somewhere in the outer limits; the latter is just a fusion of all things death and doom (and Finnish).

Oh, and the new Megadeth. Whoopty doo.

I recently went on a cruise to New Caledonia and while I was there picked up Sepultura's Schizophrenia. The store had a decent selection, but that was the only album I could find worth purchasing under 20 bucks. Most others ran at about $40 AUD, which blew me away a bit and I'm used to Australian CD prices which are expensive to begin with.

Isn't that on vinyl only though? I could swear someone mentioned that in the reissue thread, or are these Listenable reissues different and on CD?
