A few lots on Ebay for the cassettes, but also a haul from Reckless on Broadway. Found some good death metal cassettes at Old School Records in Forest Park.

Went to the record show today in Hillside too.

You have to get that Inverloch on vinyl man, I have both the CD and vinyl, the latter sounds noticeably better :nods:

Thanks mate! It wasn't cheap and I've been searching for this for a long, long time. It feels good to finally have it here, now it's straight to the safe to (almost) never see the light of day again. I wish I knew more about it, can't read Chinese, I just really want to know how many copies exist.

P.s. he put out a new album last year that I'm looking for just incase anyone runs across it.

Most of the 2nd pic are reissues aside from Altars, Dominion and Rotting. The other pics are all originals. I was really glad to find the two Impaled CDs for 25 cents a piece at my local FYE. Also just won a big lot of all first press death metal but they're all just the cd and booklet. May try to post pics of those when I'm off work. And yeah it's hard to get a nice camera when I blow all my extra cash on CDs haha

Pretty epic haul! :) The Aldious and Onmyo-Za I own, of course. Your version of Kishi Bojin differs from mine - I fluked out and got the first press with a slipcase and 2nd photobook. Apparently, the 1st presses of most of their albums are like that. I'm assuming their upcoming two albums will be no different.

I've been wanting to get all that for months now (although it's technically missing Gargoyle stuff, but that's just on backorder). But yeah, that covers all of Onmyo-Za's albums that I was missing. Technically, I have the NA release of Kongo Kyuubi, and I'm admittedly tempted just to get the usual Japanese version just because it'll look nicer (I beat up that jewel case pretty badly). We'll see. I'm only in the middle of Onmyo-Za right now (haven't touched anything else), but man, Garyou Tensei is one crazy good album. I'm going to play the crap out of this one; I already know it.

I didn't know they did that for their 1st presses; that's pretty cool. I guess I'll be getting more pretty pictures than I expected.

I think the NA version of Kongo Kyuubi had its song-titles in romanji *cringe*. Oh well, at least a label tried getting some Japanese stuff released over here (they went tits up last year I think). The 1st press of Kishi Bojin is one of the nicest CDs I own (some of the Galneryus I bought are giving it some competition though).

Yeah, they're all in romanji. Of course, my tags for that one are in the glorious, proper moon runes. I had a couple of accidents with that case and the hinges are broken on it and the booklet has some tears in it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with those bootlegs I had either since they are pretty much useless.

But yeah, Galneryus albums are extremely nice looking (thanks VAP). Especially Reincarnation and Resurrection. Actually, that self-titled Versailles album is a first press edition too. I'm not really sure how HMV still has them, but they do.

Yikes, that sounds nasty. I always have spare jewel cases on hand, but there isn't much that can be done about booklet tears. I'd say give those copies to any IRL friend once you get replacements.

Reincarnation is really nice, I was pretty shocked when I got that one. Phoenix Rising and Angel of Salvation are pretty ace too.

HMV Japan is super random with stuff. I swear they have a huge warehouse ala Raiders of the Lost Ark with hidden treasures galore. Sometimes I've received pre-order novelties despite it saying they were no longer available on the website. Whereas I heard CD Japan sometimes doesn't supply them, even if you pre-order in advance.

Well, I do I have replacements now (AKA the actual CDs). Yeah, I'll probably just try to give those things away. Hopefully, somebody will actually want them. Anyways, that happened years ago when I was just getting my collection started and just lazily stacked everything on my nightstand. That CD, by far, is the one I've damaged the most. I'm usually pretty good otherwise.

HMV Japan probably does have secret warehouses. That would explain a lot.

If only they would have done the same with the cd reissues, which moron came up with idea of putting a huge logo in the center of the artwork, seriously ?! :durr: :guns: I'd still buy it though, because there is no other option... Very unlikely I'm going to find a affordable original anytime soon ;p

Actually it's 5, so not bad for $10 with only like $4 in shipping.

I got one in a couple weeks ago. They actually sent me two extra CD's in with it as well. Here's the haul I received:

Doctor Midnight & The Mercy Cult - I Declare : Treason
Hegemon - Contemptus Mundi
Trinacria - Travel Now Journey Infinitely
