Nice I got the songbird edition as well... I won't get to play for months while my wife plows through it first since she's more in love with the series than I.

CDs recently:

Acid Bath - When the Kite String Pops
Acid Bath - Paegan Terrorism Tactics
Darkthrone - The Cult Is Alive
Eyehategod - Take as Needed for Pain
Eyehategod - Southern Discomfort
Immortal - Pure Holocaust
Master - Slaves to Society, Already mentioned this, but decided to throw it into the pic.
Pagan Altar - Judgement of the Dead, Pagan Altar not included, on the way. Psyched to see these guys at MDF, should be pretty awesome.
Pagan Altar - The Lords of Hypocrisy
Pagan Altar - Mythical & Magical
Sepultura - Morbid Visions
The Hidden Hand - Mother Teacher Destroyer

It's been a very doom week for me to say the least. Been binging on doom bands like an addicted drug fiend attempting to get high. Saint Vitus, Eyehategod and Pentagram being at the center of this binge.

Oh and also pictured is my cat's leg. How cute. :3

Cool! from the same shop at the same time?
I just got Take as Needed for Pain recently myself, the only other CD of theirs I have is their live one, which I'm not that fond of.

Yep, same time same place (see stickers). I was really in the mood for Acid Bath too, and I was JUST about to play them at home from the downloaded versions I had, but now I can just burn them with my CDs, aww yeah!

All of Eyehategod is essential, imo. All of their full-lengths anyway. This Southern Discomfort is good too, especially that 16 minute jam track at the end, damn is that some awesome shit. Definitely worth picking up, especially if you find it cheap. You should really get the rest of their stuff if you like Take as Needed for Pain.

I saw them at MDF 2010 and they kicked some major ass, really awesome. :headbang: They're from New Orleans, btw....if you didn't know.

Jacob's Dream - Jacob's Dream
Sykdom - Intet Liv
Memory Garden - Mirage

Also have these on the way from Amazon:
Timeghoul - '92-'94 discography compilation thing

Just bought this a few hours ago at a vintage music store in Mystic, Connecticut. Mint condition picture disk of Killers. The sticker on the front says $39.95, but the guy running the store sold it to me for $34.

I picked up three new albums.

Opeth - Ghost Reveries
Holmgang - Gengangerens Kvad
Agalloch - Marrow of the Spirits

The Agalloch and Opeth albums are great. I haven't given the Holmgang a listen to yet.

I got these from a local store called Record & Tape Traders. I read somewhere that there used to be more in my area but this was last store left and was recently owned by FYE. This probably explains those stickers I guess.
