back with another small update:

Image

Dissection - Where Dead Angels Lie [Nuclear Blast 1996, small little must-have Dissection collectible]
Morbid Angel - Formulas Fatal To The Flesh [Earache 1998, I now almost have all the Morbid Angel albums, now only that Illud cd and I still like to replace my Altars of Madness reissue with an original, oh yeah, I still need that Abominations album too, and then I'm done...]
Gorguts - Erosion Of Sanity [Roadrunner 1993, death metal masterpiece, finally! Search still continues for that Considered Dead CD (the worst is yet to come.... :/ ) ]
Sinister - Bastard Saints [DIGI, Nuclear Blast 1996, nice little addition to the collection]

Image

Massacre - From Beyond [Earache 1991, my search for this one is finally over, yes i coughed up quite some euro's, but fuck it, it's worth it :D ]
Edge Of Sanity - Nothing But Death Remains [Black Mark 1991, was sold to me as a first press, but it contains an ifpi nr on the data side of the disc and it mentions Sony Dadc, so i guess it's some sort of reissue, it's just not clear if this is some later 90s reissue or a very recent one... I guess I'll probably never find out...]
Entombed - Left Hand Path [Earache 1990, looks like the real deal, so either 1990 version or an exact copy re-press from 1994, Mosh 21, Mastered by Nimbus, blue hand on the disc itself, etc.. it's all there. I couldn't resist it for the price i found it for, i already have the 1999 reissue and the difference in artwork quality is huge I must say! Finding an original Clandestine is next, but that shouldn't be too hard...]
Tiamat - Sumerian Cry [MetalcOre 1990, also a very nice addition, early Tiamat generally gets ignored very hard in contrary to the stuff they released in the gothic 'peek' but this is definitely worth checking out if you like some classic Swedish death metal]

Image

Oh yes, I went to the Bolt Thrower/Morgoth/Vallenfyre show in Hasselt, got me some goodies (2 shirts and a patch) :-D

Very great hauls mate!!!

And, seconded, that Bolt Thrower shirt

Hamferð - Vilst er Síðsta Fet

Took me a while to find this in brick-and-mortar stores, and I had to order Evst with a month-long delivery time. But holy fuck, is this the best debut EP EVER?!? Yes, yes, it might well be.

Megadeth, get with the program

Got these from a Discogs seller in Germany, I paid a little more than I should have but who cares, it's only money
I have so many parcels on the way to me, I should probably hold off till after xmas... or at least the end of October

Machetazo - Sinfonías Del Terror Ciego [US, whoah! this rules, good artwork too, I have almost every album on CD now]
Marduk - Nightwing [FRA, original, needs another listen]
Mortification - Scrolls Of The Megilloth [GER, original! has the Nuclear disc logo, I've wanted this for many years indeed]

Pick of the litter: Machetazo

Nah... I haven't received these yet.

The End of Green album is a blind purchase because I couldn't find a download link that actually worked...from the three songs that I've heard or so one sounded absolutely killer so I hope the rest won't let me down.

Come on now, you don't get to ostracise someone because you don't think the same way he does. it reflects poorly on you. Megadeth's post were digital purchases and that's ok. Maybe you think it's lame and stuff but I think having 5 copies of the same album is lame, to each his own.

Got these two tapes at my local goodwill.

Arrived: Parakletos - Offerlammets Makt

I've wanted this album ever since I got into symphonic black metal. I finally have a copy.

Also purchased: xDeathstarx - We Are The Threat

A bit disappointing compared to xLooking Forwardx.

Picking up my score a day earlier than usual this week(Festival trip tomorrow):

Image
Zaum - Oracles (Canadian Stoner/Doom metal, samples sounded cool so I went for it)

Image
Decrepitude - Demo I (15/33)
Decrepitude - Demo II (15/33)
Mons Veneris / Forbidden Citadel of Spirits - Grim Moonlight upon Transylvania
Vetala / Desgranges - Split

These have all been highly wanted for me, finally!

Haim - Days Are Gone
Holy Terror - Terror and Submission/Mind Wars
King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
Rigor Mortis - Slaves to the Grave

I decided to go through with my idea of buying the Holy Terror 2CD just for the first album, and I'll try and find an original Mind Wars and swap it with this one with the audio glitch. It was only $6 used, so eh why not?

Thanks haha, I'm actually not the biggest fan of plaid patterns, but it's a nice and heavy blanket so it keeps me warm when I need it

Oh, and I just discovered another problem with the Mind Wars CD on this thing. They split A Fool's Gold/Terminal Humor/Mind Wars into three separate tracks! Why?? They were all one song on the original, so what warranted splitting them apart? Unacceptable.

Terror and Submission sounds just fine to me however. I couldn't really notice anything wrong with it aside from the fact that the track listing is different from the original vinyl, but that doesn't bother me, despite how nitpick-y of a person I am haha.

One last thing: Rigor Mortis' new album? FUCKING. BRILLIANT. Like holy crap, the first 5 songs on this thing are beyond amazing. These guys haven't lost their touch in the slightest. I really wish I could've donated to their Indiegogo page so I could have my name in the album notes. They deserve every penny they got for this thing, and then some.

Lengsel - Solace

An absolute classic that I should've bought long ago.

Fejd - Eld

Pretty nice folk EP. I'm enjoying it a lot.

The only album titled Eld you'll ever need is by Enslaved.

My latest arrivals over the last week or so:

Image
時空海賊Seven Seas - Imagination
時空海賊Seven Seas - Parallel World
時空海賊Seven Seas - Confusion
Balflare - Tempest
Rage - Black in Mind [Japanese pressing - 1 bonus track]
Armageddon - Embrace the Mystery [Japanese pressing]

Image
妖精帝國 - Rebellion Anthem [single]
妖精帝國 - Baptize [single]
妖精帝國 - One [single]
妖精帝國 - 月光の契り [single]
妖精帝國 - Weiβ Flügel [single]
妖精帝國 - Schwarzer Sarg [single]

Pick of the litter: 時空海賊Seven Seas "Imagination" - ultra-happy, neoclassical power metal. Their stuff is pretty hard to find and is usually expensive as fuck. I lucked out and nailed 3 of their CDs for semi-reasonable prices and all are in good condition too.

Does somebody know which press this is? Can't find it on discogs. Could it be a variant of the first press? It was new.

Yeah, but it is apart from some codes on the cd itself exactly the same as the original and repress. It also doesnt have a year on it.

maybe its a variant? Maybe a second repress? I dont know
