Aura Noir - The Merciless [UK, original misspress Digipak with the CD tray in the centre panel, killer album!]
Bathory - Blood Fire Death [CAN, Kraze repress] new to Discogs
Bathory - The Return...... [RUS, Irond 2002, I should have checked =( cool album anyway]
Burial Hordes - Devotion To Unholy Creed [SIN, Digipak, ripping black death]
Celtic Frost - Monotheist [US, Century Media, yes finally]
Dark Angel - Darkness Descends [GER, 1998 remastered reissue with 3 bonus songs]
Demilich - Nespithe [SPA, 2009 reissue, I never used to like this one because of the vocals but I do now]
Destruktor - Nuclear Storm [US, awesome but I already have one]
Deteriorot - In Ancient Beliefs [US, original WWIII]
Disinter - Welcome To Oblivion [FRA, Deadsun Records + bonus song, other versions don't have this, solid DM]
Disjecta Membrae - Taedium Vitae [SPA, careless listening is to be avoided - indeed]
Dozer - In The Tail Of A Comet [US, black/white disc version not blue/white, solid stoner] new to Discogs
Exhumation - Seas Of Eternal Silence [DEN, I like the artwork...]
Fleshgrind - Destined For Defilement [US, 1999 reissue, not sure why I got this]
Gojira - L'Enfant Sauvage [AUS, pretty cool, not as good as other albums of theirs]
Iron Maiden - Best Of The Beast [UK, 1996 compilation]
Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden [UK, 1987 repress]
Lair Of The Minotaur - War Metal Battle Master [US, wicked album, spare copy]
Martire - Martire [US, killer stuff, spare copy]
Morningstar - Finnish Metal [FIN, bandannas and bullet belts, uh huh...]
Nazxul - Iconoclast [GER, original on Eisenwald Tonschmiede, I almost like this enough to ignore the synths, almost]
Neurosis - Sovereign [US, original 2000 Digipak, some Neurosis I can't handle but this is really good]
Old Man Gloom - No [US, gatefold cardboard packaging, I already have a copy of this]
Sepsism - Purulent Decomposition [SPA, original Repulse, this album slays, I have the promo too]
Sons Of Otis - Temple Ball [US, original Man's Ruin, score!] new to Discogs
Swans - Children Of God / World Of Skin [US, 2xCD reissue of both albums, kind of hard to find this stuff]
Usurper - Threshold Of The Usurper / Skeletal Season [UK, 2 EPs released together? totally wicked and I'm glad I took a punt on it]

Private purchase from Shawn - Witchrist
Mitochondrion / Gyibaaw - Rituals Of Transcendence / Liimk Halaayt [US, quite weird but it's ok]

Some nice ones in there!

I realize my collection lacks Bathory by seeing those two records. I only got the Jubileum 3 comp. Time to look around for some more albums.

And thanks, I'm really surprised by the Vomitory record. It's awesome!

You should like that album because it's pretty good, it's not one of their 'bad' albums
Individual Bathory albums are what you need in your life

Something tells me it's this combo here http://webstore.earache.com/bolt-throwe ... %20thrower

but the BT reissues (/ recent re-presses?) from War Master on look (visually) just like the original, except for the runout on the data side of the disc, so it's very easy to confuse the two versions with eachother, especially when encountering these cd's on the second hand market

The Bolt Thrower cd's are reissues from the Earache store. Not very exciting for collectors. I just started listening to Bolt Thrower this year. I would have preferred the originals but I'm too lazy and cheap. Good stuff though!

^ reissued Bolt Thrower is better than no Bolt Thrower :nods:

Stoner and sludge

Buzzov•en - Sore [EUR, I've literally wanted this for 20 years, really cool album]
Electric Wizard - Come My Fanatics.... / Electric Wizard [UK, 1999, both albums on 2 CDs, handy, I've wanted their 1st for a while and now I can trade off my 'Fanatics reissue] new to Discogs
Fu Manchu - Eatin' Dust [US, good stuff]
Goatsnake - Goatsnake I [UK, Rise Above, wicked album]
Nebula - Sun Creature [US, EP, sounds like Nebula]
Nirvana - Live At Reading [bootleg Digipak aaarrggghh!] new to Discogs
Orange Goblin - Time Travelling Blues [UK, original, not my favourite but still really good]
Roachpowder - Viejo Diablo [SWE, original OSP version, wicked stoner from Sweden] new to Discogs

Pick of the litter: easily Buzzov•en, but Roachpowder grew on me the most [never heard them before]

Sick puppy: Nirvana, ultra spewing about this thing, I got a refund but still

Haha, I just can't get into it. It's not bad, but I can't get through the whole album. I prefer To Mega Therion by far.

And the Vomitory was a blind purchase. Didn't own any albums from them before this one. From the very first few moments when I played it, it struck me with it's pure awesomeness and brutality.

Hit up a record store today, found myself

Autopsy-Tourniquets, Hacksaws and Graves
Locrian-The Crystal World
Animal Collective-Fall be Kind
Blakagir-Carpathian art of Sin
Mortiis-Crypt of the Wizard
Tom Waits-Big Time
Tom-Waits-Real Gone
Tom Waits-Glitter and Doom Live
Pungent Stench-Masters of Moral-Servants of Sin
Slayer-Christ Illusion
Brian Eno-Lux
Cannibal Corpse-Gore Obsessed
Uphill Battle-Blurred 1999-2004

Some of the disks are filling in gaps in my collection some are just outright blind purchases. The Pungent Stench disk is my first foray into their work, been meaning to get some of their stuff for a while now. Just not sure if this disk of theirs will be a good start or not though? Overall happy with my little cd binge i went on earlier. Its going to take me a while to get through them all though.

I think he's mad about the fact that it's a bootleg, not because it's Nirvana.

Incantation - Dirges Of Elysium

Damn. Best album they have done in so long. Can't get enough. So many killer riffs. I could listen to Carrion Prophecy on repeat all day. The into is perfect. Nothing new, not re inventing the wheel or anything of the sort. Just a more memorable and better quality release.

My christmas gift to myself:

Image

Austere / Isolation - Bleak on vinyl and cassette. Austere's tracks are now my most favorite pieces of music ever. So emotive and powerful, been listening to 'em everyday for months now.
Inquisition - Magnificent Glorification Of Lucifer (2009 reissue with bonus tracks)

Neat. I was wondering when you were going to purchase Sinmara, I love that record. Mountains of Quivering Bones is mega.

I got Darkspace in the post this week. I never listened to 'I' much, but now that's I have it on vinyl I'm really enjoying it. I hope the other three albums follow relatively quickly with this format.

some more that came in:
Image

Pestilence - Malleus Maleficarum [1988/1998 Roadrunner/Displeased, this will do for now... pretty much have all early Pestilence albums now :D ]
Amorphis - Black Winter Day [1994 Relapse/Nuclear Blast, must have little EP]
Battalion - Only The Dead Have Seen the End Of War [2014 Shiver Records, cool Belgian band, lots of groovy brutality, curious to this one...]
Cannibal Corpse - Eaten Back To Life [1990/1993? Metal Blade/Death Records. Got sold to me as a first press but I think it's an early reissue, Cannibal Corpse logo in black on the disc and normal black font for album title)
Monstrosity - Imperial Doom [1992 Nuclear Blast, probably the most expensive cd in my possession, but I have it finally, my wallet can rest in peace (for now)...
Exoto - Carnival of Souls [1994 Tessa Records, classic Belgian death metal album that I got very cheap from the band through facebook, apparently they found a long lost box filled with these cd's :D Well how about that... ]

still have 2 cd's incoming (hopefully), because of some little mishap concerning the adress the package got lost in the mail, one of the items is a 1991 EP by Entombed, uhu.... :(
I just hope it gets returned back to the sender safely, more than a month now, and still no word, crap...

This is probably over the last two months. Some albums I've given a lot of time to others not so much.

Abysmal Dawn - Obsolescence (excellent so far)
Beyond Creation - Earthborn Evolution (a good listen, I haven't given it enough time to sink in)
Cavalera Conspiracy - Pandemonium (on first spin it sounds a bit muddy, heavy but a tad disappointing)
Elysian - Wires of Creation (only halfway through the first spin, so far so good)
Ne Obliviscaris - Citadel (AOTY, superb)
Decapitated - Blood Mantra (some great songs but also some filler)
Exodus - Blood in Blood Out (pretty good, Zetro is definitely a better fit)
Job For A Cowboy - Sun Eater (only had one listen, really impressed so far)
Machine Head - Bloodstone & Diamonds (some good stuff, some run of the mill stuff)
Resurgency - False Enlightenment (brutal)
Sanctuary - The Year the Sun Died (really, really good)
Segression - Painted in Blood (contains some of their best material)
Scar Symmetry - The Singularity (better than I thought)
Soen - Tellurian (fantastic, Tool take note)
Tangled Thoughts of Leaving - Downbeat (droney, noisey EP, pretty good)
Unearth - Watchers of Rule (best album they have released)
Warfect - Exoneration Denied (super thrash, never heard these guys before)
Fallujah - The Flesh Prevails (only pipped by NeO for AOTY)

got it from ebay, it was still expensive though... let's just say it was more than 50 euro's I paid :s But I can tell you, it is worth it, disc is in very fine shape together with booklet and inlay which contain no holes/no tears. I am a happy man... I can only say that it's better to get hold of that cd now that it's still a bit doable... I really had no intentions to keep waiting it out and then realizing the minimum selling price hits 100 euro's (we ain't there yet, but we're very slowly heading there though...), no thx :p

Some Megadeth cyberarmy stuff. Due to someone screwing up I got the package twice. (Dave, now we're even again for ripping me off with Super Collider :D)
So:
Megadeth - Unplugged In Boston (signed)
Megadeth - Unplugged In Philly (2x, signed + unsigned)
At The Gates - At War With Reality (signed MC)
