Snagged a new copy of Persuader's "The Hunter" (1st edition/NTS) off of ebay.

Image

My favorite album of theirs by a mile. This pressing has been on my wantlist for over a decade, so I'm glad to own it finally (mind you, I wasn't exactly aggressively hunting it down). I'm not even sure if a Loud'n'Proud pressing (the original) of this exists (the label went tits up around when this album was released), so I guess the French pressing will have to do. Now I can get rid of my crappy remastered version.

Killer! I missed out on that unfortunately. Do any distros carry that release? The only place I see it for sale is on Discogs from some cocksucker for $200. :grumble:

I thought as much! Hopefully one day I'll stumble upon one for a reasonable price. Oh well, until then I'll just have to be content with the CD. But not everything sucks! I got some cool Christmas swag.

Yes Dread, you're right! The first time I see that demon was back in 1991 when I buy the vinyl and find it on the lyric insert and on the vinyl. After some research I could not see a similar image elsewhere and still today I can not give it a name. If someone knows, your help is really appreciated.

This specific demon is named Buer, he is supposed to be the leader of hell and commands legions of demons, and moves by rolling. He also has the power to heal all sickness in anyone he chooses

Dead Congregation - 'Promulgation of the Fall' CD
"Last House on the Left" (1972 version) DVD

Sabbat - Sabbatical Earlyearslaught (Boxset)

Includes their early 7" EP releases from the 80s, along with some demo and rehearsal stuff, plus a rough mix of Envenom. I'm stoked to hear the 7" material the most. Sabbat, Born By Evil Blood, Desecration, The Devil's Sperm is Cold...how could you miss with titles like these? Hoping/expecting a much rawer sound than they've developed these days.

I also had to snag this shirt along with it:

Well, I got:

Nocturnal Depression - Reflections of a Sad Soul (Double LP with poster), they are my fav band so it's about time I got something from them lol.
Nocturnal Poisoning - Doomgrass LP, a really good LP, it seems everything Scott Connor does is amazing lol
Judas Iscariot - The Cold Earth Slept Below... CD, the band that got me into black metal, but I was unable to find anything by them until now.
Sarcofago - INRI LP, amazing first-wave / black metal so happy I found this!

This truly is an amazing live performance! such a shame they split, Vortexs vocals are magical. What did you think of the earlier stuff ? its really experimental and strange hey?

I went to a used record store in Melbourne today for something to do and picked these up really cheap, most where 5 dollars.

Grave - Burial Ground (I actually have not heard much of there newer stuff so i was keen to get into it)
Grave - Endless Procession Of Souls
Hellveto - Zmierzch (Was actually stoked to find this after my Hellveto haul from Pagan Records not long ago)
Thyrfing - Vansinnesvisor (Cant go wrong with these guys!)

That's the only first press, there is no non-NTS Loud 'N Proud version. I bought mine within a couple weeks of the original release date.

I'd have sold you my copy of that Mongrel's Cross, it just doesn't click with me at all for some reason...
That Megasus however is fully awesome, love that album!

Grave sounds like Grave, old and new Grave is good, very predictable and solid, they have only put out maybe 2 albums that were less than solid, and that's relatively speaking too, collect them all I say :nods:

This doesn't show up in here that often, I was pretty excited to get my copy but it seems to get forgotten...
And that reminds me to look up their new album too, that crowd fun thing

@dreadmeat Absolutely man i spun these today and they are both great, i have actually ordered the reissues of the first three albums from Hammerheart records, do you know if Hammerheart do quality releases ? atleast i have never ordered from them directly. Anyway i will upload a photo when they arrive :headbang:

I went through all the Grave reviews, Hating Life and Back From The Grave got pretty average reviews, are these the two you refer to?

There's stuff I can listen to but I'm not a fan really. My wife is. She wanted it, already picked up the cd version of it. I def like the material on there far more, but overall I keep calling it circus metal but not in a loving way.

AWESOME!

There´s no crayer band than Demilich.

That´s about as cray is it gets,

I´ve heard of more cray bands, but there aren´t many.

Someone once actually called them "cray", so I heard he said "gay".

It's not easy to be a dickhead, but I'm trying really hard
