Haha, yeah. I mean, this place was just something... Even spotted Altars and Blessed Are the Sick, both first-press. Wow.

I actually read both of the reviews here before I bought it, didn't realize one was yours. Image

It is a very solid album, something away from the norm that still kicks tons of ass. I wonder if they will ever do a follow up to it?

Well the band is still active, but I don't know what is holding them up. I'd be surprised if the reason was trouble getting an album released, considering they are still apparently signed to Carnal Records. Their damn website hasn't been updated in years either, weird .

Various purchases over the last week from record stores/online distros:

Image

Darkthrone - Panzerfaust, Omega Order sale
Immortal - Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism, Omega Order sale
Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East
Nadja - When I See the Sun Always Shines on TV, Omega Order sale
Type O Negative - Symphony for the Devil

I think all of this cost me about $32, not a bad deal.

The Code is Red... Long Live the Code- Napalm Death.

I also got this promo for Napalm Death, Behemoth, Impaled, Immolation, Unleashed, Jungle Rot, etc. I don't know if it actually came with it, the info on here doesn't mention it. So if anyone could help me clear this up that would be awesome but whatever.

It's a standard bonus comp that comes with all the copies of that album to my knowledge.

Just got both of these today at a local record fair:

Image

Celtic Frost - Tragic Serenades 12" EP. I am over the fucking moon at this score for $30, original 1986 press.

Satanic Warmaster - Carelian Satanist Madness digi-pack cd (limited 1000 copies) for $18.

Fairly ordinary photo though. Does them no justice...

Hellnation - Cheerleaders for Imperialism

I've never seen a copy for less than $40 (well I did once on Amazon but they wouldn't ship to Australia), so when I saw a copy for $8 I purchased it instantly.

Nice! I bought mine for 15$ or so. It does look badass but I keep mine unopened for the collection. I also have the normal edition which I use for listening.

Fucking agreed. You picked up two quality albums, my good man. Of the two, I'd vote Triptykon as being superior, but Hour Of Penance is still really flippin' good.

Hmm, I don't know your tastes, but for me, I found Xerath to be good, but it didn't blow me away. Hopefully you find it a little better.

I will say that you could do worse for a blind purchase, that's for sure. :)
