That Timelord "Regeneration" is a pretty awesome album though. I really wish they'd finish their second album (been waiting for that forever).

Some new stuff from Discogs/privately, 3rd or 4th deal with this guy now!

Angel Rot - Unlistenable Hymns Of Indulgent Damnage [US] really catchy stoner doom
Clutch - Clutch [US] this is quite good and almost awesome, but it's no TNSL
Gargantula - Infinitasm [US] this is or was most of Spaceboy, who I really like, this is killer and sounds quiet similar to Spaceboy
Killing Joke - Killing Joke [US, repress] new to Discogs, some nice old KJ, the best kind
Leeches Of Lore - Leeches Of Lore [US, eco-pak] what a mixed up mess of awesome and terrible stuff, odd-heavy like The Melvins
Nebula - Atomic Ritual [US, Digipak] sounds like Nebula
Saint Vitus - Lillie: F-65 [ARG] not bad, has some catchy stuff, needs another listen
Saint Vitus - Live [US, 2005 reissue] this rules, not remastered either so still sounds good
Stumm - I [UK] whoah, this is awesome, brutal and slow sludge with really mental vocals
Sword - Lord By Fire [US] what is this sludge/post metal? it's quite cool, sounds a bit like Black Cobra etc
Tad - Live Alien Broadcasts [US] live in the studio

Pink Floyd - The Division Bell [US, original] it's been out for 21 years, figured I'd go ahead and get it already...

Oh and I got another big box of jewel cases

Have any of you ordered from this site? http://www.gardarikamusikk.com/

They have if you buy 7, you get 50% off your order and I'm very interested, but haven't heard of many of the bands on there and don't want to bite on the deal just because it's cheap haha

Picked up

Taake - Stridens Hus
Aborted - Global Flatline
Aborted - Goremageddon: The Saw And The Carnage
Aborted - Necrotic Manifesto

Wow. Aborted fucking blew me away, I played that stuff in the car ride home and it is some brutal shit. I almost picked up aborted - strychnine.213 also, but heard that that wasn't as good. After listening to these three, I might have to get it anyway. If its ANYTHING like these three, it's fucking fantastic.

Now Stridens Hus. I forked over for a new copy of this (Only ten). First new cd I've bought this year and goddammit Hoest...Your first disappointment, by Taake's standards of course. It's still great, but no where near anything previous to this.

Went to the local FYE and its sad as every time I go in the metal section keeps shrinking....

But looked in the used stuff and bought.

ImageImageImage

Needed Dream Evil since I have really never paid much attention to solo Dio past the first two amazing albums and need to rectify that. Re-Load I wanted as I liked some songs on it and it was only a buck since I bought two other used CD. Despite the hate I like several of the songs off the Loads, should have been one album though. Crimson Idol gets rave reviews on here so I figured it had to be worth 7 bucks. Haven't listened to WASP since I was in grade school so we will see how it is.

EDIT: Just based on the first listen but...Holy Fucking Shit is Crimson Idol a great fucking record. I never thought the WASP I had on cassette back in 84/85 could put out something like this.

Strychnine.213 is indeed my least favourite of their albums, but you may enjoy it. You picked up their two best ones in Goremageddon and Global Flatline, anyway. :)

Those new album covers for the Inquisition reissues are quite fascinating and real works of art, but there's just a certain charm all the original covers had (minus their first album, the Hells Headbangers reissue's artwork was much needed) that I can't picture them without those covers.

I agree the originals were great! and have a spooky charm to them, and to be honest i don't prefer these over them in anyway. I just thought they looked awesome as well and would be worth owning.
I guess the most important factor of all is how goddamn awesome Inquisition are! so mind bendingly grim and moving. I saw them live in 14 and it was really captivating, Dagon owns the stage!
